This ova file is useful only if you want to install operate OpenDaylight on your own laptop. For this, you need at have a laptop with at least 8GB of RAM. You also need to install VirtualBox https://www.virtualbox.org/ and follow the step by step instructions in slides 55-61 (https://hackathon.internetsummitafrica.org/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=ais-hackathon-network-programmability.pdf).
I used VirtualBox version 5.1.30. The latest version of VirtualBox is 5.2.10. This should work fine, too
The ova itself requires 4GB of RAM to run. OpenDaylight needs at least 2 GB, and preferably 4GB to run well.
