For your students - San Jose Math Circle

Dear BATMath,

  For your 7th to 10th grade students, the San Jose Math Circle is currently accepting applications until this Sunday, September 11, 2022!

New students are required to write an essay to be considered for admission. Students who were part of the 2021-2022 Circle and had good attendance do not need to write the essay, but do need to fill in the rest of the application.

Where:    Santa Clara University

When:     Tuesdays (October-May) 7pm-9pm

Who:       Middle School (7th-8th) and High School students (9th-10th)

We plan to make decisions about admission by late September and will send e-mail notifications to everyone who applies. Due to limited space, only students who have been invited to participate will be allowed to attend the first meeting.

I am a mat teacher interested in participating. I live in the SJ area, but work further up the peninsula. I think I reached out to participate in this earlier in the summer. 

My second question is: how can we start this in other parts of the region?
