 Since SE is into the business of demanding states then it should at least demand the following 6 states to be created:

1 Anioma State - to be carved out of present Delta State and to join the SE. The state capital is Asaba. The proposed Anioma State in its current composition, comprises Nine (9) Local Government Areas of Aniocha North, Aniocha South, Oshimili North, Oshimili South, Ika North, Ika South, Ndokwa West, Ndokwa East and Ukwuani.

2. Apa State (for Idoma) - to be caved out of the present Benue State and joined with the SE. The state capital is Otukpo.The proposed Apa State in its current composition, comprises Nine (9) Local Government Areas of Ado, Agatu, Apa, Obi, Oghadibo, Ohimini, Oju. Okpokwu and Otukpo out of the present twenty three (23) Local Government Areas of Benue State.

3. Anyigba/Okura State (Igala) - to be carved out of  the present Kogi State and joined with the SE. The state capital is Anyigba

4.Ogoja State (for Ogoja) - to be carved out of  the present Cross River State in the SE. The proposed Ogoja State should consist of twenty-one (21) Local Government areas. The state capital is Ogoja town.

5. Old Calabar State (Efik)- to be caved out of the present Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State in the SE. The state capital is Calabar.

6. Adada State to be carved out of Enugwu (Enugu) State. in the SE The proposed Apa State in its current composition, comprises Seven (7) Local Government Areas of Uzo-Uwani, Igbo-Etiti, Isi-Uzo, Nsukwa (Nsuka), Isi Uzo, Udenu, Eze-Igbo North, and Eze Igbo South. The state capital is Nsukka (Nsukwa)
