Boko Haram insurgents have inflicted heavy casualties on troops of the Nigerian army, BBC is reporting.

The insurgents were said to have stormed the base of the soldiers in Kareto village in Borno state in large numbers.

Sani Usman, spokesman of the army, had earlier confirmed the attack, but refused to go into details.

The BBC quoted a soldier as saying the militants came with “heavy weapons which we didn’t have”.

A resident of Kareto said troops managed to regain control of the village with the support of fighter jets.

“Several of the militants were killed in the fighting which lasted for several hours,” the resident was quoted as saying.

Despite the claim of the government to have brought the sect under control, Boko Haram has continued to carry out different attacks.

Kudos to our troops of the recce and signals detachments. Kudos to their bravery in knowing to call in air power to salvage their comrades in arms and save their lives from "those who immerse" (the shock troops of demonic evil from the satanic verses). Maybe professional soldiering can come back in Nigeria after-all.

But what do we have to say about these politicians who are changing the rules to keep being corrupt and laundering money? What do we do with these parasite politicians and their business co-treasonous snakes, who are padding budgets and raising oil prices? Who instead of going through the appropriate channels, will take Nigerian money and recycle in the bureau de change (a market of illusion)?
Why is there still a "bureau de change," e vehicle for economic desolation, in our monetary economy?

Those who have ears ...

O.E.

There is no truth in the false story of Boko inflicting heavy casualties on Nigerian troops. There was an attempt by the remnants of Boko, thoroughly dislodged from Nigerian territory, to attack a military barrack and it was repulsed with heavy casualties on Boko. That the pitiable Wailers have now become Boko Fans Club members and forging fake stories and praying and fasting for Boko triumph does not in any way amount to success in their prayers. Both the wailers and Boko have been washed down to our forgettable chapters of the country's dark chapter we exited from last year.

The subject that I mentioned that I lecture "Investigaciones Operativas" was born in the first world war from the Army by which the fire power of the enemy is measured . The Britsh  Mathematician Frederic William Lancaster worked about the ballisitc power of the enemy forces. He also develloped through diferential equations, the quadratic Combat law of Lancaster with which it was possible to determine the outcome in millitary battles in fucntion of the relative numeric force and the relative capacity of the fire power of the soldiers.
Thamas Alva Edison also used this subject  to contribute to anti-submarine wars, by developing a technicque that could be used to evade and destory enemy submarines with just some torpedoes.

The explantion above shows that the Nigerian Armed Forces have been busy more on politics than the defense of the nation. It also shows that the Institute of Strategic Studies that suppose to know know the above subject are possiblly in the darkness and do not study strategy. If so, I offer Distant Education to them on this subject becuase I am not interested in going to Nigeria while Buhari is President. I do not support Despots.
The Nigerian Armed Froces lack the knowledge of "Investigative Operations " which is needed to defeat Boko Haram and reducing civilian and millitary casualties as an example. Buhari did not pass any Military examiantion, he does not know what to do. He governs like a Caliph while herdsmen are comitting genocide under his nose becuase his people are Fulani not Nigerians.

You must be talking about Afis the blimp waiting to explode. Yep. The same madness, epilepsy, diabetes and cancers that he wished on Ezeana are now resident in Afis's household. And they are not going anywhere until Afis's household is decimated and Ezeana gets Afis's skull for his footstool.
