"Come 2027, they [Nigerians] will stupidly vote for Tinubu based on tribe and religion -- they voted for him in a reasonable degree enough for him to rig the rest of the process in his favor."  -  Nebukadineze Adiele

Comment:
Nebuchadnezzar Adele,
In fairness to them, Nigerians did not vote for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election. They voted hands down for Peter Obi, but the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu colluded with Tinubu/APC and brazenly stole and handed the undeserved victory to Tinubu in the wee hours of that sad day. The result is the laughing stock of a disgraced nation-state that Nigeria has become today.

The proposal making the rounds of the media space is for Nigeria to be balkanised into the following six countries; viz. 1). Niger Delta (made up of the South-South region) with its capital in Port Harcourt, 2). Biafra (made up of South-East region) with its capital in Enugu, 3). Oduduwa (made up of South-West region) with its capital in Ibadan or Lagos, 4). Arewa (made up of the North-West region) with its capital in Kano or Kaduna, 5). (made up of the North-East) with its capital in Bauchi and 6). Middle Belt (made up of the  North-Central region) with its capital in Jos.

I applaud and wholeheartedly agree with this arrangement and hope that it comes into manifestation in no distant future. The only disagreement that I have with it is the name given to your would-be country. Biafra was killed 0n the 13th day of January, 1970 and its lifeless body was transported and effectively buried on the 15th January 1970 (just two days after its death) at the Dodan Barracks, Lagos, the then seat of power. In his funeral oration, Maj-Gen Phillip Effiong, the last and final officer who commanded what was remaining of the dead republic, let the entire world know in no ambiguous terms, that, what was hitherto known as the republic of Biafra, ceased to exist from that very day!! And that legendary statement was gazetted.

So, the parading of the organisation led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his co-travellers as Biafra or something like that, is totally ILLEGAL in all its ramifications, given that it passed a very wrong message to the innocent world that the BURIED lifeless Biafra was being exhumed, to be brought to life again. No! No one can bring back to life a dead body that was long buried and decayed, No way!!

Against this backdrop, given the South-East region the name Biafra in the foreseeable new dispensation, is tantamount to justifying the madness of Nnamdi Kanu and his cohorts.

For this reason, I have suggested that your region be given the name Igbo nation or simply Ndigbo in the scheme of things. Meka.

Nigerians are stupid people and deserve Tinubu as their president, that is the only explanation for the idiocy they tolerate as leaders. Come 2027, they will stupidly vote for Tinubu based on tribe and religion -- they voted for him in a reasonable degree enough for him to rig the rest of the process in his favor. Already, Atiku Abubakar, at almost 80 years old is getting ready to run for president in 2027, even though he has been running for president at different degrees since 1993. Other than stupidity, what else could justify Atiku's his belief that he is fit enough to become president of Nigeria; that makes some people still support his ambition of running for president again; that led Peter Obi to join ADC, even though ADC is made up of 95% of Atiku's supporters and cronies, the same people who ensured that Atiku secured PDP nomination over Obi in 2023?

Stupid is as stupid does, so it will do for Nigeria in 2027 what it did in 2023 since they have continued to act stupidly. Profligacy is what I hate most about the Tinubu presidency. Like Maduro, Tinubu has impoverished Nigeria to the point that majority of the people are borderline beggars while Tinubu and his group live an extraordinarily extravagant life at the people's expense. I had never spent as much money as I spent over this last Christmas era helping people who aren't even blood relatives of ours, I noticed the poverty when I buried my father in June, but it intensified by December, when I was getting appeals for help and proposals to purchase property/land being disposed by formerly wealthy people whom Tinubu's presidency has suddenly impoverished.

I am happy that the West is now entertaining breaking up Nigeria as a sound solution to the problems bedeviling Nigeria. My goal, if approached for counsel at the opportune time, will be ensuring that Eastern and Igbo parts of Mid-Western Nigeria go it without Yoruba and the North (except the Middle Belt). If non-Igbo minorities want to join Yoruba, they can do so, but we will get back all Igbo territories that they occupy at present due to the injustice of state creation -- that will prove to fools once and for all that Igbo has never been naturally landlocked. I want a united One Nigeria only if Nigerians are willing to change the corrupt, incompetent, and profligate state of the nation. More than two decades into the 21st century, it is a disgrace to the black race that Nigeria is what it is today -- a disgraced country that has shameless leaders who go abroad for medical treatment; to die and got ferried home in majesty, mostly at tax payers expense (like Buhari), to wed and graduate from universities their daughters and sons, to launder stolen public funds in property purchases, and to celebrate Christmas.

I am ashamed of Nigeria, I am embarrassed that I am a Nigerian; Nigerians' stupidity, in excusing and tolerating the despicable behaviors of their leaders, galls me to no end. I will visit Nigeria again this year, but if things don't change over all in that country, I will never set foot in that country for the rest of my life; I will cease identifying as a Nigerian -- the rest of the world is beginning to notice Nigerians' stupidity.

I have not seen any reason for it to not repeat in 2027, especially now that Tinubu appointed the current INEC officials, judges, and justices of the courts.

On splitting Nigeria as you listed, all parts of Igbo land must be joined to the Southeast to form a country; we cannot tolerate a situation that puts some Igbos into other countries where they will become a minority and get treated as such. This was the particular issue that Ikwere's delegation registered with the Willink Commission -- that if Ikwere was not left with their fellow Igbo in Eastern Region, Ikwere would become a minority in the anticipated Rivers Region and get treated as a minority, even though it is not of a minority tribe. The Commission agreed that this was a germane concern and accepted it as one of the reasons for rejecting creating the new Region. For the people who still deny being Igbo, a referendum will be held and if they prevail, they can go ahead and join the South-South in a country. I know for a fact that the Igbos in Delta state are dying to returning home in the Southeast, so they will not be needing a referendum.

Your argument against the name Biafra is neither profound nor convincing. The Republic of Biafra only ceased to exist in 1970, it was not killed, and General Effiong never read any funeral oration for Biafra, he only sincerely conveyed a pledge that assured the FGN, which prevailed on the battlefield, that Biafrans were returning to Nigeria. A new country for Igbos will not necessarily bear Biafra as its name since the defunct Biafra was not an exclusively Igbo country.

Nebukadineze Adiele,
Please go and read the Willink Commission's report to be able to appreciate the context and nuances of the Ikwerre people's position. We have NEVER been Igbo and WILL NOT be Igbo, even in your widest imagination. In the same vein, Igbo has NEVER been Ikwerre and WILL NOT be, even if you apply to be a part of the Ikwerre tribe. Truth is that Ikwerre and Igbo share borders just like the way the UK shares borders with France. We are simply good neighbours and that's all!  We are not from Delta. We are the ORGANIC Ikwerre people. So, stop confusing the two peoples (Delta-Igbos and Ikwerre)!

Please try not to draw me into this meaningless debate again. Ain't got the time! Meka

Comment:
Kayode Adebayo,
As usual, I would have left you to wallow the much you want in your eternal madness, but if I don't clear the seeming ambiguity, you may come back tomorrow to rattle and tattle about me with it.

The proposal (which I support very much) because of the realities on ground, is for those mentioned six geo-political areas of Nigerian to be seen and recognised as six countries that will make up the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Just like what obtains today in the UK arrangement. The proposal is not advocating for those ex ante countries to become independent countries of their own like what Nnamdi Kanu and his knucleheads were doing with their UNTENABLE Biafra.

The proposal advocates for a kind of confederation, whereby power will not be concentrated in the Centre as it's obtainable today. And I see nothing wrong with that! With that kind of arrangement, you can rig in Tinubu as your leader the much you want while I concentrate on my Niger Delta and the Centre.

Come to think of it, do you love Nigeria? I don't think so!! Indeed you are the very WORST enemy of Nigeria - always in support of President Tinubu with all his UNPARDONABLE shortcomings - just because he hails from your tribe.

What a bleeding tribalist you are!!!

Lord have mercy,

You and your co-travelers called Igbo have been predicting the collapse and division of Nigeria for years. You even had America to predict in 2014 that Nigeria would collapse and divide into pieces in 2015, and I told you and your fellow enemies of Nigeria at that time that Nigeria will never collapse come 2015 and 2015 came to pass and Nigeria remained intact like I said it would.

You and your co-travelers once again predicted Nigeria would collapse and divide by 2019 and I told you again that Nigeria will remain intact in 2019 and beyond and it remained intact like I said it would.

Once again, you're back at it waiting for Nigeria to collapse.

My Yoruba people say:

Eni ti o re ti ati sun Akan, a pe leti omi.

Meaning: The person waiting for the crab to fall asleep, will wait by the river forever.

It's time you enemies of Nigeria know that whenever I talk, you should always listen and thank me. I know what you enemies of Nigeria don't know and God blessed me with that power.

What God has put together, no human in this world can put asunder. Nobody. Nigeria was made one by God Almighty and not by Lord Lugard like most of you enemies of Nigeria believe and it will remain one till the end of time.

It's time you enemies of Nigeria go and get a life, because Nigeria may face hardship like any other country, but it's here to stay. It will continue to be one Nigeria till the end of time.

You all can take that to the Bank anywhere in the world any day and anytime, I guarantee it like I always do.

Shame on all of you enemies of Nigeria.

In Africa Tanzania with Tangayika and Zanzibar.
Nigeria will be better of as a Confederation like Tanzania  with mixed Presidential cum Parliamentary System like South Africa.iw

"The proposal (which I support very much) because of the realities on ground, is for those mentioned six geo-political areas of Nigerian to be seen and recognised as six countries that will make up the Federal Republic of Nigeria." --- Ignorant Pastor Called Emeka Okala

For your education, "six countries" is not Confederation. A Country is a geo-political zone or nation with its own government and own political boundary called territory, you ignorant Pastor. For example, Nigeria.

On the other hand, a Confederation is a loose federation or union of states within a country where members states have significant authority and the central government is weak. An example of a Confederation or Confederal government is Confederate States of America in 1781-1789, before America became a Federal Government as United States of America in 1789.

For your ignorance, Nigeria can't survive as a Confederation. It's the same reason why there was 'Operation Wetie' in the Western Region when Nigeria operated a Confederation, which eventually led to Nzeogwu's coup and killings of regional leaders like Okotie-Ebo, Akintola, Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello and others and ultimately the end of the First Republic. It was because the central government was weak.

What kind of Professor are you? You don't know what Confederation is.

Shame on you.

What exactly is Kayusee ranting about here?

The argument seem to be about leadership style and not sovereignty issue.
The main difference between federation and confederation is where sovereignty lies and the power freighting between constituting nations and federal/central government.

Confederation tends to have weaker central government while federation tends to have evenly weighted or stronger central government.

In any case, that's got nothing to do with leadership styles which come in many different forms.

Yes, Tanganyika and Zanzibar's morphing into Tanzania is the only successful confederate state in Africa. Its founders and continued leaders eschewed personal and all parochial interests for what is in the best interests of the peoples.

Contrary to the lies peddled below by Deranged Ape Kayode Adebammuj, Nigeria has never existed as a confederacy, the closest it came to confederacy was the Aburi Accord, but it was thwarted by opportunistic leaders of Nigeria who put personal and parochial interests above what is in the best interests of the people. Nigeria was a federation before and after gaining independence; it did run a federation that allowed the federating units the freedom obtainable in a federation, unlike since 1967 when the states were created.

The US began as a confederacy but within a few years, it ran into obstacles as to how to resolve conflicts between states. It began when New York and New Jersey had some squabble over some river. It then dawned on the states that there had to be a leader of them all, so they realized the importance of federal laws always preceding states and local laws whenever and wherever they meet, hence the supremacy of the "commerce clause" of the Constitution. The same thing applied to the Confederate states that seceded from the Union, they met obstacles as the war was going on because there was no clearly defined leadership of their confederacy -- different states were overruling the federal government. Confederacy President Jefferson Davis saw the foolishness of having been on the side of those who demanded absolute freedom of operation by the states from the federal government before the war. This was his first disillusionment with the war -- while POTUS Lincoln could order XYZ be done, and it was enforced and done, Davis couldn't get anything done without the states deciding on it.

Bottom-line, a total confederation cannot work in Nigeria as it has worked in Tanzania, because Nigerians are dishonest people. A loose federation, as existed before the war, should be restored; the states should be reverted into the Regions from where they were carved out (with an additional Region created in the Middle Belt) --Igbos of Mid-West should be carved into Eastern Region, while the elements in Eastern Region who aren't Igbo and wish not to remain in Eastern Region are carved into the Mid-West. If that doesn't work, Nigeria should be split into two, with Yoruba and the core North founding a country -- since they have Islam in common. The Middle Belt should decide whether to join Yoruba and the core North or join the Eastern Region. This is simply the solution to Nigeria's problem, nothing more and nothing less.

Nigeria is a big country with a lot of ethnic groups. That's why Confederation or Confederal System of Government failed woefully in Nigeria in the 60s. The same bigness with a lot of diversities in America made Confederal government to fail in America in 1861 with a civil war, just like Nigeria and its civil war. There are only two or three ethnic groups in Belgium and they are more or else homogeneous citizens. Similarly, there are only four ethnic groups in Switzerland and are homogeneous in nature and are not many and not divided along ethnic lines like in Nigeria.

For your information, there are 330 ethnic groups in Nigeria, all divided along ethnic lines. Belgium and Switzerland are very small countries which makes Confederation essy to practice. They are not big and complex countries like Nigeria and America.

Germany like Nigeria and America practiced Confederation between 1815 and 1866 and failed woefully like America and Nigeria. Germany had more than 10 ethnic groups. Internal rivalries led to Austro-Prussian war, a civil war in Germany in 1866,  which ended Confederation in Germany like Nigeria and America.

Like I said, Confederation always lead to civil wars. Germany is not a small country. It has a diverse big population of 83 million people with many ethnic groups like Nigeria and America. That's why Confederation couldn't work in Germany like Nigeria and America.

Be careful what you wish for Nigeria. If trouble starts in Nigeria due to Confederation, you will be among the first to jet out of Nigeria to your favorite Switzerland that you so admire. Remember you're a General with many benefits. How many Nigerians have mansions in Ikoyi like you? How many Nigerians have several drivers, cooks, aides, SUVs and plenty of money in the bank like you, courtesy of Buhari and Tinubu?

General Ishola Williams, always remember the down trodden people in Nigeria who are not members of the upper class of Nigeria like you. They are the ones that will suffer if trouble starts in Nigeria, because they can't afford to jet out to Switzerland like you.

This is the first time Trump who purposely diverted American people's attention from serious problems in America to Venezuela and Nigeria, ever admitted there are Muslim killings in Nigeria like Christian killings, despite his own Ambassador to Nigeria telling him that there is no Christian Genocide in Nigeria only terrorism that kills Christians, Muslims and Atheists alike. That Boko Haram and other terrorist organizations in Nigeria kill more Moslems than Christians. Trump purposely removed the former American Ambassador to Nigeria for telling him the truth about Nigeria and replaced him another person who will fit his Christian Genocide narratives, after failing to solve serious domestic issues in America.

Unfortunately, there are too many gullible Nigerians around the world who want their own country to be destroyed by America under the pretence of Christian Genocide. It's only Nigerians in the whole world who wilfully call on foreign powers to invade and destroy their own country. The Igbo wilfully turn their own attention away from their own IPOB  and ESN terrorists that are committing Genocide against their own Igbo every day.

Unfortunately for them, the American Congress has just made a law that restricts Trump invasion of foreign countries without approval of the Congress. Trump still can't believe his own Republicans joined the Democrats to pass the law.

Only Igbo People! What A People!

Trump Admits Muslims Are Also Killed In Nigeria As Sowore Dismisses ‘Christian Genocide’ Political Ruse

Sahara Reporters

United States President, Donald Trump, has made a partial U-turn on his long-held narrative about religious killings in Nigeria, admitting that Muslims are also being killed in the country, even as he insisted that Christians remain the primary victims.

Trump’s comments were made during an interview with The New York Times and published on the newspaper’s website on Thursday, following questions about Washington’s Christmas Day military strike in Nigeria.

The U.S. military had announced at the time that it carried out the strike against Islamic State militants operating in northwest Nigeria, saying the operation was conducted at the request of the Nigerian government.

The strike reportedly targeted Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) elements, a splinter group of Boko Haram responsible for years of violence across northern Nigeria.

During the interview, Trump was asked to respond to statements previously attributed to his own Africa adviser, who had said that extremist groups such as Boko Haram and Islamic State were killing more Muslims than Christians in Nigeria.

In response, Trump said, “I think that Muslims are being killed also in Nigeria. But it’s mostly Christians.”

Reacting to Trump’s comments, former Nigerian presidential candidate and human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, dismissed the Christian genocide narrative as a deliberate and manipulative construct designed to justify foreign military and economic interests.

In a  posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, Sowore accused Trump of using religion as a convenient emotional tool while pursuing imperial and economic objectives.

"Emperor @realDonaldTrump wakes up, intoxicated by U.S. military power, scans the globe, and fixes his gaze on any part of the earth rich in oil or so-called rare earth minerals, wherever his bread can best be buttered,” Sowore wrote.

He added, “From that place of imperial loneliness, he decides to invade. The narrative used to justify it is secondary; even then, it only needs to match the gullibility of the intended audience..”

Sowore said he has consistently argued that claims of a Nigerian Christian genocide are not rooted in objective reality but are carefully crafted to exploit religious sentiment and mobilise political support, particularly among conservative audiences in the United States.

“I have always maintained that the Nigerian “Christian genocide” narrative is a calculated ruse, crafted to occupy a popular emotional space. It worked wonders!” he said.

The activist further questioned Trump’s moral authority to speak on Christian values, insisting that the former U.S. president does not embody the principles of the Christian faith he often invokes.

"The truth is that @realDonaldTrump does not serve the God of the Christian Bible. He does not love his neighbor as himself,” Sowore stated.

He went on to accuse Trump of lacking compassion even for his own citizens, saying, “As we now know, he doesn't care about his fellow Americans so long as they don't toe his warped line of reasoning.

"He loves only himself and his account balance. Everything else is theatre

Ignorant Pastor Called Emeka Okala:

For your education, Confederation leads to civil wars. It was because America practiced Confederation which caused the American Civil War in 1861. It was the same Confederation in the first republic that led to Nigerian Civil War in 1967. It was regionalism aka Confederation that made Ojukwu to secede from Nigeria, because he had seen the power that resided in Eastern Region that later became Eastern State, which eventually led him thinking about seceding and eventually civil war. He had seen how weak central government was during the first republic and that catapulted him to want to secede from Nigeria.

Nigeria hasn't had another civil war, because we now operate a Federal System of Government with powerful central government and America hasn't had another civil war since America became a Federal System of Government with a powerful central government. When people from different ethnic groups like in Nigeria or different parts of the world like in America are granted autonomy within a country, they start looking for trouble, because power corrupts.

If the six geo-political areas of Nigeria get their own governments, with a weak central government, they will start terrorizing their neighbors with their own ammunition and wanting to secede from the union which will lead to a civil war.

Unfortunately, people like you just go to Facebook and copy and paste whatever dummies on Facebook write without critical thinking.

That brings us back to the original premise:

If leadership were measured in size, President Trump is a giant.
I predicted many of his policies and he is consistently implementing them.

I predict within a month or two he will act on Greenland.

Greetings, Afis,

Some of these views may be classified, inappropriate on public fora.

Suffice it to say:

  • Yes, the world is already at war, to think otherwise is naïve, which POTUS can’t afford.
  • China has rendered the Panama Canal a chokehold on USA.
  • Therefore, USA must make Panama an offer she cannot refuse.

Rubio is heading to Panama

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/rubio-is-heading-to-panama/ar-AA1xGJ7d?ocid=entnewsntp&pc=U531&cvid=db74edc74669467682f64aeba1374f01&ei=50

  • Hostile forces are globally, aligning with Russia to undermine USA.
  • It’s imperative for Trump to nip this threat in the bud by rebooting Russia/USA bilateral relation.
  • Respective dues must be given to Ceaser & God.
  • Hence, imperative to parry Putin to end this stupid Ukraine war.
  • Re-engage Russia as a worthy partner towards world peace/development.
  • Global peace can only be guaranteed by mutual respect.
  • Russia deserves and has historically earned that respect.
  • To do otherwise will threaten the national security of USA.
  • History teaches unmistakably that great things happen when Russia aligns with USA.
  • The current BIG ISSUE is not even Panama Canal but the “NorthWest passage
  • Climate change/arctic ice melt has rendered the Northern Sea Route viable.
  • The Northern Sea passage would render Panama and Suez Canals obsolete.
  • Russia has launched nuclear powered Ice breakers & nuclear-powered electric generator ships/stations to secure the NW passage.
  • That’s why USA needs Greenland.
  • It should either be negotiated or taken.

Regards,

My bias, social influence, and the echo chambers surrounding me made it seem like the obvious choice. After educating myself more, I now see just how dangerous he can be and deeply regret my vote."

"Some of his actions that influenced my change of heart include: the way he is treating immigrants in our country (illegal or not, his treatment is inhumane), the conflict he has started in and around Venezuela, his appointment of less-qualified individuals to staff his cabinet and other influential positions in the government and his aversion to any truth that is not his own. All of these, among others, are reasons that my opinion of our 47th president has changed, and I regret that I was too late to realize the damage he could cause."—Anonymous, 26, Male, Nebraska

4. "I don’t love his rhetoric, but it was expected after last his term. I wish he were more of a uniter than a divider, but I still support his underlying mission and goals. The nonsense I can do without."

—Anonymous, 42, Male, Arkansas

5. "I've always walked the line between liberal and conservative views. I voted for Trump in 2024, and I truly regret and feel immense shame for doing so. I truly think it would have been better not to vote at all now. He's an ugly, vile human. The more I realize, the more I feel sick about it. My husband is the same way. Despite all of this, I can't help but feel our vote never mattered in a fully red state."

—Anonymous, 26, Female, Alabama

6. "I knew we were screwed early in his first term, when he used a Sharpie to show us where the hurricane was headed. It was that moment that I realized we had an idiot in the presidency."

Anonymous, 76, Male, Missouri

7. "My opinion has changed drastically. When I voted for him, I truly thought he would make things more affordable for my family. I really leaned into the argument that the economy was horrible under Biden. I have four kids and my wife, and I’m the breadwinner of our house. My wife is unable to work due to health issues. I bought into his nonsense about fixing the economy — and I looked past the rest of his nonsense, thinking it would help my children. Fast forward to now, and I can tell you it has still been hell affording everything."

"On top of affordability, every day I shake my head in disgust from the headlines and his choice of people for his cabinet. Like RFK…R-F-Freaking-K."—Anonymous, 35, Male, Upstate New York

8. "I started changing my opinion of him when he started openly lying about the COVID-19 pandemic. I could hardly believe it when he started the Jan. 6 assault on our country. Since then, he’s only gotten worse, saying he hates Democrats and attacking anyone who disagrees with him or asks a serious question. The cabinet choices he’s made this time are unbelievable — the only qualification he looks for is ass-kissing. The folks who continue to support him are worse in my eyes than he is."

9. "My opinion has changed. I voted for him in the 2024 election, and he hasn’t done one good thing since then. He is just not a good person at all. Plain and simple."

—Anonymous, 24, Female, Western Kentucky

10. "I voted for him because I thought he would be better on border security than Harris. But he lost me from the get-go when he pardoned all of the Jan. 6 felons, including those who violently attacked police. I never liked him as a person, and his performance since the inauguration has convinced me that he is a despicable piece of shit and the worst president in U.S. history."

11. "Voting for him is the decision I regret the most. This man is pure evil, and I am so ashamed I fell for his charade."

Anonymous, 22, Female, Upstate New York

12. "I am an Independent voter. I voted for Donald Trump because I believed he would perform well in several areas: defending American interests on the global stage, supporting our international allies — especially in the Middle East — against our common enemies, and transforming our domestic economy from being largely service-oriented back into more of a manufacturing-based system. I had no illusions about agreeing with Trump on everything, and in fact, I disagree with him on many issues, specifically his views on the environment and climate change."

"I know he is sexist. He is a gruff, rude, and crude public speaker, which sometimes puts America as a whole in a bad light. But I felt that the reasons I voted for him supersede his public persona, and in terms of policy, I do think he has met — even exceeded — my hopes and expectations.—Anonymous, 62, Female, Rural Ohio

13. "I thought Trump would bring some much-needed change to the existing two-party system. He did, but not the way I wanted him to. Instead of making real changes to help the people, he's failed to deliver on any of his promises, then turns around and lies about progress where there is none. It's all a big con game with Trump, and it's become increasingly obvious that he's nothing more than a man-child surrounded by yes-men who are scared to stand up to him as a voice of common sense. He's successfully exploited the religious right, xenophobes, racists, and misogynists. We've become a laughingstock of the world, and turned our backs on our allies to suck up to Russia and China."

"Trump has brought us to the brink of a second civil war. I'm embarrassed to tell people I'm from the U.S. I'm even more embarrassed that no Republican has the balls to stand up to him. We elected a clown, and made the country a circus."

—Anonymous, 48, Male, New Jersey

14. "His vindictiveness is so childish and selfish. I felt true fear for our country during the Jan. 6 riots, and even more fear when Trump was reelected in 2024. My mind was made up about him during his second election campaign, when he refused to denounce the Proud Boys during the debate."

—Anonymous, 37, Female, Virginia

15. "A lot of things led to me losing faith in Donald Trump. And I want to point out — I was never a full-blown Trump supporter. I did vote for him, though. It seems like he’s completely lost touch with the average American, and he is clearly covering up his involvement in the Epstein files, along with adding his name to things like the Kennedy Center. Prices have continued to rise, insurance has increased, and I honestly feel like I’m in a worse financial position than I was a year ago, but they’re trying to gaslight us into believing that they’re making a huge impact and are a great administration."

Anonymous, 27, Female, Virginia

16. "Although I do still support Trump, I guess I had too much faith in him. I thought by now my family would be able to afford groceries. I thought we would have a house, instead of paying $1,800 in rent each month for a small apartment. I assumed we would have a chance at 'the American Dream.' Wishful thinking, I guess."

—Anonymous, 28, Female, Indiana

17. "My opinion has changed this term. I voted for Trump in 2016 and was generally satisfied with my decision at that time. So, when he was running again, I thought it would be similar, but I was wrong. I am especially unhappy with the way he's handling immigration. It seems very cruel and unnecessary — of course, I want people to come into this country legally, but the way the president regards immigrants is unacceptable and inhumane."

18. "I voted for Trump in 2020 only. Then, concerns about abortion rights made me change my vote to Democrat in the 2024 election. If that hadn’t done it, the inhumane treatment of immigrants and lack of respect for due process would have turned me off entirely. What’s happening to immigrants in our country is appalling and disgusting."

—Anonymous, 30, Female, Texas

19. "I think my 'final straw' was Trump's statement about Rob Reiner. I realize this may seem trivial at face value, given the other things Trump has said and done, but it revealed a profound lack of basic empathy and human decency. It was an eye-opening moment for me that made me think... maybe he is as vile as people say he is? There are still policies of his that I support. And I was never a full-fledged MAGA member, but rather a fiscal conservative who leans socially liberal. I align more with conservative policy, but the MAGA movement needs to go away. The best thing for our next candidate as a party would be to immediately distance themselves from MAGA."

Anonymous, 33M, Missouri

20. "I feel like his first four years were great. This time, the prices keep going up, and this obsession with immigration is over the top. They promised they would go after criminals, but they are going to job sites and racially profiling people just trying to work. They are revoking work permits from people who obtained them legally. I'm so disappointed with this administration this time around."

"Also, blaming housing prices on immigrants is absurd. Like people were crossing the border with half a million dollars...it is sad to think our president believes something as ridiculous as that."—Anonymous, 40, Female, Tennessee

21. "My opinion of Trump has changed drastically. My children are terrified of the police in general now because of his ICE raids. Normal consumption costs are still rising, which is concerning to single parents like myself."

"He cut WICfood stamps, and health insurance to low-income households. And he has increased taxes for low-income people (making less than $40K a year). I have dozens more reasons to despise the president of the United States."—Anonymous, 25, Female, Indianapolis

22. And finally, "I am incredibly anti-Trump now. I originally voted for him in the hopes of lower grocery prices, lower interest rates, and finally being able to afford a house. However, with the mistreatment of federal employees and military members, exponential increases in prices across the board, and his constant attempts to shift blame for everything, I truly regret the decision to vote for him. Additionally, the promise of deporting criminals was a lie. We're constantly seeing the administration go after U.S. citizens just because of how they look. I didn't vote to deport people who came here to try and make a living and build a better life."

Greetings, Nebu,
I hear you and agree with you.
We are watching a kaleidoscopic scenario.

The greatest mistake of Trump's critics is to underestimate him as a fool.
Trump didn't just wake up to talk about Greenland and Canada. Influential elements from there are instigating/lobbying him.

Are you aware that there are powerful elements in Alberta, etc, lobbying for secession from Canada? Are you aware that many Greenlanders have age long grievances and want to dissociate from Denmark? Denmark stole many indigenous children from Greenland to Denmark.

Pay attention and watch, President Trump's permutations are not in isolation but instigated by local content grievances.

Nicolás Maduro and several associates were indicted in the Southern District of New York in 2020 for narco-terrorism and drug trafficking. USA can pick him up anywhere, same way they picked up Osama bin laden.

CY,
Not everything POTUS Trump does is right. He was wrong to have gone into Venezuela and extricated their president, that is kidnapping, a lawless act even when committed by a government. It is alright to get Greenland through peaceful means, wrestling it through military might is criminal, it is the equivalent of armed robbery when committed by individuals. It is not right of the administration to be arresting and deporting people who aren't recidivist criminals; people who have lived in the US since childhood and have served in the military/deployed to wars fronts in the past. Anyone who has resided in the US for at least a decade, worked steadily, and committed no crimes should not be deported; the person should be afforded an opportunity to legalize his/her stay -- but the borders can be fortified by any means necessary.

POTUS Trump's stand against the ultra liberalism of multi-culturalism, counter-culturalism, tolerance for Islamism, transgender, open borders, bombing the hell out of jihadists in Nigeria, etc. are fine with me and should be encouraged.

HAHAHAA!!

Happy New Year, my angry, hollow friend, Kayode,
How do you end 2025 with anger/cursing and begin a new Year with anger/cursing?

When will you grow up?

Why don't you attempt to impeach what I wrote?
If I ask just one question now, you will, as usual, expose your naivety and ignorance.

Kayode,

Stop looking at things in black & white.
There is a whole range of gray area where creative minds vibrate.

Denmark has no case, NATO is not required.
All USA has to do is empower the indigenous people of Greenland to convene a referendum under the auspices of the United Nations.

They will vote for Independence and to join USA.
That will seal the deal.
Ignore Denmark and their empty noise, below is the man USA should deal with:

Buffalo Soldier And Dummy Called Cyril Anyanwu:

"Are you aware that there are powerful elements in Alberta, etc, lobbying for secession from Canada? Are you aware that many Greenlanders have age long grievances and want to dissociate from Denmark? Denmark stole many indigenous children from Greenland to Denmark" --- Dumb Jobless Architect Called Cyril Anyanwu

Trump can't take over Greenland. Na Shakara, Katakata, Shakara. Washington Treaty of 1949 signed by all member states of NATO prevents members from taking over other member states. For Trump to take over a territory owned by a NATO member state, Greenland  owned by Denmark in this case, Trump must withdraw America from NATO and for Trump to withdraw America from NATO, he needs the congressional approval, he cannot unilaterally withdraw America from NATO and Congression will not approve that stupidity.

Second, Denmark can sue America at ICJ, if he forcefully take over Greenland from Denmark and such forceful take over will be considered as a war crime. Trump only has three more years as president and ICJ can invoke its law against him.

Furthermore the Greenlanders have vehemently opposed America's take over. They told Trump and America to go away.

But what do you know about International Relations, you dumb and jobless Architect of Texas?

Ha ha ha!
That's a good one!!
The ham sandwich is guilty as charged.

Maduro is guilty. How can you sit on the largest oil reserve in the world and your people are starving?

There is a Venezuelan guy that used to vacuum the floor of our office.
He came in after 5pm and diligently learning English. I am learning Spanish, so I spoke Spanish to him while he spoke English to me. We corrected each other and became friends.

One day he told me that he is an attorney in Venezuela but fled because of Maduro's oppression. He eventually told me he was quitting. I asked why, he said he drove Door dash on weekends and it gives him more money.

That guy is so jovial that he frequently exclaims that "he is living the American dream"!! We both laughed at that.

Maduro is as guilty as a ham sandwich!!

Fraternizing with those guys on this hemisphere is existential threat to USA. Same way I condemned Ukraine's naive bid to join NATO.
People are not at liberty to behave anyhow. Why do you think Switzerland sandwiched between belligerent Germany, France, Austria and Italy chose to remain neutral and prospered?

You dare USA or Russia, you pay a heavy price. There is a reason a country is termed a superpower.

That is realism. It's a jungle out here. Those who want to survive/thrive in the jungle must pay obeisance to the elephant and lion. No lone hyena is allowed to run wild in the jungle. It must belong to a pack. Even at that, whenever the male lion appears, that pack scatters.

You are wrong, CY, the indictment is a case of giving a dog a bad name in order to hang it. Maduro is a socialist and was carrying on with the socialism that Hugo Chavez began and is supported by majority of Venezuelans. If he is guilty of anything, it is that of being a socialist and refusing to be bought over by the US.

Venezuela was still a wealthy country, where the people were happy with the government as late as about 2014, until the US began imposing economic and technology sanctions against it after the death of Chavez, and Maduro refused to capitulate to US imperialism. The US is angry that Venezuela is friendly with China, Cuba, Russia, North Korea, and Iran, that is why they demonized Maduro with criminality linkage before simple minded Americans (such that a smart fellow like you bought their propaganda), yet majority of Americans oppose the kidnapping. The US tried to start a war with Venezuela by urging Guyana to claim the new oil fields found off the waters shared by both countries, but of which Venezuela has always controlled, but Russia asked Venezuela to not fall for the bait. When that didn't work, Trump criminally pulled this stuff of going into the country and abducting Maduro. If the UN allows this terrorism to stand, then any powerful country can abduct any president of any country that it does not like -- Russia could have done away with Zelensky had it been inclined to such brazen violation of sacrosanctity of not abducting a sitting president of a country.

The US/CIA has been trying regime change in Venezuela since Hugo Chavez came to power in 1999 and pursued a socialist administration. It succeeded with a military coup in 2002 but the people trooped out and overturned the coup within 24 hours. Hugo Chavez was incorruptible and an orator loved by the people, so the US could not allege drug running or corruption against him. The US pinned its hope of getting rid of socialism in Venezuela, and returning with its exploitative oil corporations to milking the country as its corrupt ruling class (like those of Nigeria) enjoyed life, on getting rid of Maduro who wasn't as charismatic and popular as Chavez. Unfortunately, Maduro beat CIA stooges in elections after elections, which the US falsely claimed were rigged. Once it became clear to the US that the people of Venezuela are sticking with Maduro, despite the hardships (caused by use economic embargo), the CIA/Trump resorted to this measure -- some members of Maduro's security detail betrayed him. The fellow you referenced might be of the old criminal elitist families that exploited the people of Venezuela until Chavez came to power in 1999.

By the way, Osama Bin Laden was not a sitting president and he was killed in battle -- the war declared against terrorism by US over 25 years ago is still not over, so any terrorist killed even tomorrow will have died in an ongoing war against terrorism.
