Collins' point is that those should not be the only choices. The first choice should be in reverse order to be grammatically correct. The second choice can be grammatically correct under certain circumstances.
 
As to your correction, you were speaking from the point of religiosity; I was speaking from that of secularity. It is intellectually awkward to conflate or confuse the two. 
 
But this thread is in honor of Tony Egbe, let's keep it that way, Warsama.

May the family Valentine Ojo left behind find strength and courage to soldier on.
 
I will continue to miss Dr. Ojo. However, it will be most unreasonable to pray for commitment of his soul to Jesus Christ because, while Val lived, he never believed in the Almighty God. Indeed he was a thorn all over the flesh of the Saints of God --he was particularly brutal on Evangelist, Noyo Edem. 
 
So, where exactly is Val's soul heading? The Holy Bible is clear on that question, and there is no amount of prayers that will make the Almighty God to reward Val Ojo for what he never believed in or worked for, while he had the opportunity to accept Christ as his Lord and savior. Unless he repented and accepted Christ in his last days or even minutes with humanity.
 
While what I have said may sound ridiculous and perhaps insensitive, especially at this difficult time for Val's family, it remains a fact and a useful warning to those who have been condemning Christianity --like Val was fond of doing while had breath. It is particularly a useful warning to Mazi Nebu Adiele --Mister "reject religion, revive reasoning." He has the opportunity now to accept Christ as his savior. He should not blow it.

I commiserate with the families left behind by Messrs. Otitigbe and Ojo. They are in my thoughts and prayers.

I also don't think this is a time to pontificate about where a person's soul will find repose! 

These deaths, serve to sober me up and perhaps bring into sharper focus the transient nature of life. Therefore, I extend an olive branch to Afis and publicly announce that I do not wish you any evil. I will henceforth take any abuse without uttering a word in response.

How many shocks can one take in a given 24-hour period? Tony Egbe's demise was shocking and tearful to me. Pastor Okala's revelation that Fabian Orlumkpo is dead added to my melancholy. Now the shock is accentuated by the news of Valentine Ojo's passing?
 
Well, the reasoned redemption from shocks of this nature is that we are all dead people, we are merely marking time here. Valentine Ojo was a man of conviction and bold erudition. Yes, he was an imperfect man like the rest of us but he was a man whose presence was never disguised to or ignored by all.
 
Valentine Ojo was a man of reason and there is no doubt that he was at peace with the life he lived up to the last minute of that life's end. In his usual tenacity, he followed his debate sparring partner, Tony Egbe, in returning to nature within the same 24-hour space, and as peaceably as he came. 
 
His immediate family meant the world to him and I am sure that they will miss him. And so shall we, his distant family, miss him. But he is at peace and that's all that counts.

That’s a bold message I must say, especially for the living, I said especially for the living because God is so passionate and merciful to the point that He does not want anyone to perish. So there is every possibility that a man who went through protracted illness may have gotten one opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal savior.
 

I have read or heard about people who rejected God while they are healthy but on their sick bed, after hearing about the good news and fearful of what would happen to their soul after death, also for the fear of, “what if heaven and hell is real” they finally decided to accept Jesus Christ and thus made peace with God.
 

Also God in His infinite mercy do send His messengers to such people on their sick bed just so He could save them because as He said, “He has no pleasure in the death of a wicked man or a sinner”. With all of the above, let’s leave it to the benefit of doubt that God may have worked on Dr. Val Ojo’s life because God’s ways are not our way.
 

There is also a difference between a man who is rejecting God or saying that God did not exist then suddenly die in accident, that case will be different because there might not be any opportunity for him to repent and the bible said that, “there is no repentance in the grave”, for such a person his or her destination may be clear, but for someone who was sick for some time, there is a great chance that our merciful God who is never interested in the death of a sinner, may have extended His hands of mercy to such an individual.
 
 
Finally, it might surprise you that some people who are mocking God and Jesus Christ will most of the time remember all the gospel they have been hearing, once they are on their hospital bed and they may not even need another preacher visiting them before they quietly ask God for His forgiveness and open their heart to Jesus Christ.
 

This is why the bible said that God’s way and our way is totally different:
 

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
 
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
 
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:7-9
 

I like your message particularly to Nebukadineze because where the dead are buried or mourn is where the living learns their lessons. Do not be surprised if this your simple message to Nebukadineze will turn out to be the panacea to his reconciliation to God. Some day this message may come ringing in his ear and he might start asking questions even when you might not be aware that he is asking questions and finally he might embrace God.
 

One thing you should understand is that all these individuals that claim that they do not believe in God are terribly FEARFUL individual, they are terribly afraid of the unknown, it is among them that you will find most those with a question, “What if” “what if it is true” “what exactly do I lose by believing…what if it ends up being true that God will judge me?”
 

Having said all of this, I pray that God in His infinite mercy will grant the family of Valentine Ojo the fortitude to bear this loss and also that God would fill the vacuum created by Val Ojo’s departure both in his family and the family of his relatives.

Learning of Dr Valentine Ojo's transition so soon after that of Tony Egbe had a similar sobering effect on me.

Twice I wanted to type the words Dr Valentine Ojo but on both 
attempts I subconsciously ommited
 Ojo - his last name. Even though I proof read the short message twice
I could not detect the omissions.

The numerous roforofo arguments both long before and after I was appointed to be Chairman of Dr Ojo's 2015 Presidential Campaign flashed thorough my mind briefly. Could any one of us have guessed that Dr Valentine Ojo would not live long enough to see 2015?


The question of what life truly about when it could be cut short at any moment remains a constant riddle for all mankind.

May the souls of 
 of Tony Egbe and Valentine Ojo rest in perfect peace. 

Tony Egbe was the quintessential patriotic Nigerian who regaled us all with his often bonded or capitalized opinions on all issues Nigerian.

Your decision to declarea truce with Afis is a classy move. I pray that Afis will return your magnanimous gesture
with a similar one.

Finally the Yoruba proverb:

"Iku ti on pa oju ba as no on or owe fun wa"

Translation: The death of any human being especially one of the same age group only serves to remind us of our own mortality.

Colly: Dr Ojo always emphasized the point that the simple fact that he was not a Christian did not mean that he was an atheist. I believe that he found a way if communing with the Almighty God the same way all other human beings who do not practice any one if the major religions do every day of their lives.

Dr Ojo's soul is probably resting in peace along with the billions of other human beings who had lived and died before Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohamad was born and those if our African ancestors who lived and died before Christianity and Islam came to our shores.

Ditto the souls of the billions of Chinese, Indians and Russians and other non-Christians who have lived and died without being exposed to Christianity.

I woke up this morning to this sad news about our friend!
Val again after Tony....he's been away for so long.
Yesterday I attended a convention where we were shown a video about how the Resurrection hope could be a source of comfort at the loss of a dear one.
Majority of the 150,000 people in the audience had tear in the eyes at the end video for we all must have experienced the loss of a loved one. 
May the God of all comfort who comforts us in our tribulations be with the families and friends of Val and Tony so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Oh what a great loss and shock! One thing I loved so much about this great man Valentine Ojo is that he was not a hypocrite! He was blunt and down to earth and a firm believer in his convictions. While we were waiting for him to return to the different fora where he writes we never knew he will be taking the journey of no return! God bless the memory of Dr Valentine Ojo in our hearts.

We must be careful and not be judgmental. Who knows late Dr Ojo might have breasted the  salvation tape like the thief on the right hand side of our LORD, JESUS CHRIST

Val Ojo might have repented on his sick bed at the count of last minute before he bowed out. I agree this is not the time to cast aspersions and condemn the dead on what he has done or fail to done at all. 

On the rapturable minute,  there will be a lot of surprises that I can tell. It is a movement when the Eagle that used to fly on high mountain will crawl and the Chicken that abodes beneath our feet will fly right into the eye of the storm. 

The mighty, the Noble, the Kings and the powerful rulers of our global village will not make it whereas the beggars for quarters on Broad and Main Streets will meet the KING of Kings and reign will HIM in live continuum. 

Beloved Dr Ojo has completed his race and sojourn on this terrestrial realm, his citizenship in the land of the living has been terminated and will henceforth await the judgement day. 

The demise and ultimate fall of the leaf of our fellow compatriot is a warming to our green leaves. We appreciate the Mighty GOD for benevolently renewing our residential permits on the surface of planet earth. We should see the departure of our brother as a sober reflection that one day, just one day our own Ebola free monkeys will go to the market and will not return. 

Folks.  
Let us use the opportunity we still have to serve our CREATURE and few mankind because we don't know when our clocks will stop clicking. 

As for Dr Ojo's family please accept my sympathy.

Well, the reasoned redemption from shocks of this nature is that we are all dead people, we are merely marking time here. Valentine Ojo was a man of conviction and bold erudition. Yes, he was an imperfect man like the rest of us but he was a man whose presence was never disguised to or ignored by all.
 
Valentine Ojo was a man of reason and there is no doubt that he was at peace with the life he lived up to the last minute of that life's end. In his usual tenacity, he followed his debate sparring partner, Tony Egbe, in returning to nature within the same 24-hour space, and as peaceably as he came. 
 
His immediate family meant the world to him and I am sure that they will miss him. And so shall we, his distant family, miss him. But he is at peace and that's all that counts.

Dr Val Ojo and I had a long love hate relationship on the internet that lasted more than 20 years. The love always more than the hate. I will miss him.

I will continue to miss Dr. Ojo. However, it will be most unreasonable to pray for commitment of his soul to Jesus Christ because, while Val lived, he never believed in the Almighty God. The Holy Bible is clear on that question, and there is no amount of prayers that will make the Almighty God to reward Val Ojo for what he never believed in or worked for, while he had the opportunity to accept Christ as his Lord and savior. Unless he repented and accepted Christ in his last days or even minutes with humanity.
 
While what I have said may sound ridiculous and perhaps insensitive, especially at this difficult time for Val's family, it remains a fact and a useful warning to those who have been condemning Christianity --like Val was fond of doing while had breath. It is particularly a useful warning to Mazi Nebu Adiele --Mister "reject religion, revive reasoning." He has the opportunity now to accept Christ as his savior. He should not blow it.

Dr Valentine Ojo was a true Yoruba warrior, and he could have been a great one if only he had let others understood his Cause. 
He could have led any Army of his choice for his Cause, if only the Army knew his mission.....
For he was insuppressible, strong-willed, determined and combatant.

I met Dr Ojo once and I took time to study the man.
He carried a miniature stature and reminded me of my first encounter with Benjamin Adekunle, the Black Scorpion.
At first impression, you ask if this was the man who owned the booming voice you have heard so many times on the phone. But his exuberance disarmed even the most hostile person when confronted by his charming smiles. He was easy to discuss issues with, in person. He was very accommodating, and though older than me, he left his table at the party where we met, brought his wife over and sat with us. 
Dr Ojo was a real gentleman and those who never met him, and carried wrong impression about him, could not claim they were right about his total personae. 
He was jovial, pleasant, conversant but not combatant.

All thru his cyber-life, Dr Ojo was on a mission. His mission though unclear even to those who loved him, one thing that was clearer than a crystal ball and undeniable about Dr Valentine Ojo, was his love for his Yorubaland. He was a true Yoruba Patriot.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

You both agree that at the last minute someone may repent and be saved but you just have to show how "educated" or how "enlightened" you are on this issue.
 
It is obvious: the way one lives his or her life will also be the way that person will be remembered when he or she dies. There is a particular man I detest and honestly, whenever he dies, I will consider it a good riddance. The man I am talking about is one of the richest, if not the richest man in the world. He has killed a lot of people (at least one that I suspect of) and the idiot is still causing heart-ache to people and families. However, others who don't know him only know his outward appearance and projection. So, if this SOB dies tomorrow, do I wish him eternal rest, no. As a matter of fact, I've told him that whenever he dies, he is going to burn in the hottest part of hell.
 
Let's try to live a good and worthy life while we're still here.

Even Tony Egbe's destination remains questionable. Though he was not hostile to Christians and Christianity, may have been attending Church, I  now remember him supporting AMORC and may have been a member. If that's the case he is in the same boat with Val. No question about that, because serving God and Beelzebub offends God.
 
So, for some "Christians" who go from Church to Dibia/Babalawo, that self deception of being a Christian cannot fool the Almighty I AM THAT I AM when that last breath is drawn.

The last time I checked our brother, Otitigbe is still with us and very much kicking. The only death that happened this past week-end are those of Tony Egbe and Val Ojo. However, I disagree with Olu here that it is sad day when a life is lost. There are some lives that are evil and wicked that losing those lives may actually be a blessing to humanity. I am in no way suggesting that Tony Egbe and Val Ojo's lives are those lives but there are some evil lives still among us.

The idea peddled by the fundamentalist Christians that one has to be born again in order to be accepted in heaven has as much validity as the claims by hard line
Islamic terrorists that there would be. 72 virgins waiting in heaven for each
suicide bomber who dies while carrying on a most horrifying
task of killing innocent human beings.

And you guys are so cocksure about your  claims enough for any rational human being to start wondering whether you have ever met who had died made it to heaven or he'll and had been back to give an eye witness account of what happens up there in the after life.

May the souls of the departed rest in peace. Before any of us knew that Tony or Val died, their souls were already pavilioned where they will rest until we meet them again. What we say or do will not change their address in the after life. 

Whether you are a christian or not, there is a heaven and there is a hell on earth. Look around you. There are people in heaven on earth. And there are people in hell on earth. Folks who are in hell on earth try to change their status so they too can be in heaven on earth. Everybody prefers heaven. I am in heaven on earth. 

If you are waiting to die to go to heaven, why not go ahead and die now so you can get to heaven earlier. The guys who don't believe that there is hell or heaven after death are more likely to be in heaven on earth and are not about to die any time soon and leave their heaven on earth. 

The question is what exactly do Tony and Val want us to be doing right now? Debating where they are? Nah. Probably want us to visit our favorite isi ehu joints and toast to lives well lived. Jesus Christ died and was buried. He took his message of freedom to the dead. The message of salvation was preached to the dead also by Jesus Christ. Egbe's destination remains questionable. Though he was
not hostile to Christians and Christianity, may have been
attending Church, I  now remember him supporting AMORC and
may have been a member. If that's the case he is in the
same boat with Val. No
question about that, because serving God and Beelzebub
offends God.

to this sad news about our friend!Val again after
Tony....he's been away for so long.Yesterday I attended a
convention where we were shown a video about how the
Resurrection hope could be a source of comfort at the loss
of a dear one.Majority of the
twiceI could not detect the

appointed to be Chairman of Dr Ojo's 2015 Presidential
Campaign flashed thorough my mind briefly. Could any one of

The last time I checked our
brother, Otitigbe is still with us and very much kicking.
The only death that happened this past week-end are those of
Tony Egbe and Val Ojo. However, I disagree with Olu here
that it is sad day when a life is lost. There are some
lives that are evil and wicked that losing those lives may
actually be a blessing to humanity. I am in no way
suggesting that Tony Egbe and Val Ojo's lives are those
lives but there are some evil lives still among us.

Dr Valentine Ojo was a true Yoruba warrior, and he could have been a great one if only he had let others understood his Cause. 
He could have led any Army of his choice for his Cause, if only the Army knew his mission.....
For he was insuppressible, strong-willed, determined and combatant.

I met Dr Ojo once and I took time to study the man.
He carried a miniature stature and reminded me of my first encounter with Benjamin Adekunle, the Black Scorpion.
At first impression, you ask if this was the man who owned the booming voice you have heard so many times on the phone. But his exuberance disarmed even the most hostile person when confronted by his charming smiles. He was easy to discuss issues with, in person. He was very accommodating, and though older than me, he left his table at the party where we met, brought his wife over and sat with us. 
Dr Ojo was a real gentleman and those who never met him, and carried wrong impression about him, could not claim they were right about his total personae. 
He was jovial, pleasant, conversant but not combatant.

All thru his cyber-life, Dr Ojo was on a mission. His mission though unclear even to those who loved him, one thing that was clearer than a crystal ball and undeniable about Dr Valentine Ojo, was his love for his Yorubaland. He was a true Yoruba Patriot.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Vin is entitled to his opinion, but the truth is that the two corrupt middle Eastern religions, Christianity and Islam have no place in Africa.  They are all senseless and mind altering religions that thrive on corruption, deceit, extortion abuse of women and children, and terror.

Death is nature's creative destruction that help make this planet habitable.
When we die, the gases misconstrued by religious crooks as souls escape into the environment and get recycled in a complex and mysterious reactions that is still  unknown to science.  There is nothing like heaven anywhere as peddled by get-rich-quick religious fanatics.  NASA had been everywhere in the space and had never seen the Jewish rabi they said ascended into the sky years ago....

And for the fact that we do not know what transpired between him and God the creator during those years of his protracted illness for which we did not hear from him again and what transpired between him and God his creator during his last days of breath means that (we) are not speaking "turenchi" but rather speaking correct language in regards to God and His mercies that endureth forever because "He shows mercy to whom He wants to show mercy" which was why Saul who was involved in the killing of the Stephen, a disciple of Jesus Christ,later turned to Paul and preacher of the gospel.


The accumulated gospels that people heard may come to play roles during their last time on earth or on their hospital beds and that is why God's long-suffering and love is beyond our comprehension.

"That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Romans 10:9

God's love is so great and His mercy so enduring that He could reach out to a sick person in his final days and it is very possible that the person would do the simple thing as stated above by the bible just as the thief on the cross that was saved right on the execution stake.


And for the fact that we don't know what transpired at the final moment of someone's death, we should always remember that God's mercy is enduring and his love so amazing that He could make the final effort to get one of His creation for whom "He send His only begotten Son into the world to die for him" to get him reconciled to Him.


Thus there is no "Turenchi" in this, rather, fact of what God can do and has been doing in keeping with His word that "He does not have pleasure in the death of the wicked"

That’s a bold message I must say, especially for the living, I said especially for the living because God is so passionate and merciful to the point that He does not want anyone to perish. So there is every possibility that a man who went through protracted illness may have gotten one opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal savior.
 

I have read or heard about people who rejected God while they are healthy but on their sick bed, after hearing about the good news and fearful of what would happen to their soul after death, also for the fear of, “what if heaven and hell is real” they finally decided to accept Jesus Christ and thus made peace with God.
 

Also God in His infinite mercy do send His messengers to such people on their sick bed just so He could save them because as He said, “He has no pleasure in the death of a wicked man or a sinner”. With all of the above, let’s leave it to the benefit of doubt that God may have worked on Dr. Val Ojo’s life because God’s ways are not our way.
 

There is also a difference between a man who is rejecting God or saying that God did not exist then suddenly die in accident, that case will be different because there might not be any opportunity for him to repent and the bible said that, “there is no repentance in the grave”, for such a person his or her destination may be clear, but for someone who was sick for some time, there is a great chance that our merciful God who is never interested in the death of a sinner, may have extended His hands of mercy to such an individual.
 
 
Finally, it might surprise you that some people who are mocking God and Jesus Christ will most of the time remember all the gospel they have been hearing, once they are on their hospital bed and they may not even need another preacher visiting them before they quietly ask God for His forgiveness and open their heart to Jesus Christ.
 

This is why the bible said that God’s way and our way is totally different:
 

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
 
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
 
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:7-9
 

I like your message particularly to Nebukadineze because where the dead are buried or mourn is where the living learns their lessons. Do not be surprised if this your simple message to Nebukadineze will turn out to be the panacea to his reconciliation to God. Some day this message may come ringing in his ear and he might start asking questions even when you might not be aware that he is asking questions and finally he might embrace God.
 

One thing you should understand is that all these individuals that claim that they do not believe in God are terribly FEARFUL individual, they are terribly afraid of the unknown, it is among them that you will find most those with a question, “What if” “what if it is true” “what exactly do I lose by believing…what if it ends up being true that God will judge me?”
 

Having said all of this, I pray that God in His infinite mercy will grant the family of Valentine Ojo the fortitude to bear this loss and also that God would fill the vacuum created by Val Ojo’s departure both in his family and the family of his relatives.

I have had many communications with Dr. Val Ojo. He trusted me completely. It is truly sad to know he has become an ancestors. I miss our communication. If and when he was condemning religion, he was right in doing so, for that I salute and bow to him doing so.

I will continue to miss Dr. Ojo. However, it will be most unreasonable to pray for commitment of his soul to Jesus Christ because, while Val lived, he never believed in the Almighty God. Indeed he was a thorn all over the flesh of the Saints of God --he was particularly brutal on Evangelist, Noyo Edem. 
 
So, where exactly is Val's soul heading? The Holy Bible is clear on that question, and there is no amount of prayers that will make the Almighty God to reward Val Ojo for what he never believed in or worked for, while he had the opportunity to accept Christ as his Lord and savior. Unless he repented and accepted Christ in his last days or even minutes with humanity.
 
While what I have said may sound ridiculous and perhaps insensitive, especially at this difficult time for Val's family, it remains a fact and a useful warning to those who have been condemning Christianity --like Val was fond of doing while had breath. It is particularly a useful warning to Mazi Nebu Adiele --Mister "reject religion, revive reasoning." He has the opportunity now to accept Christ as his savior. He should not blow it.

The last time I checked our brother, Otitigbe is still with us and very much kicking. The only death that happened this past week-end are those of Tony Egbe and Val Ojo. However, I disagree with Olu here that it is sad day when a life is lost. There are some lives that are evil and wicked that losing those lives may actually be a blessing to humanity. I am in no way suggesting that Tony Egbe and Val Ojo's lives are those lives but there are some evil lives still among us.

This is not the first time Stevek twist what I write to suit his purpose. There was a time Mr. Patrick Ugeh had to set him right. I have told this man, Stevek, to simply leave me alone. I did not steal his wife. If he doesn't insult me as a lawyer, he will have some other thing to say about me.
 
Now, he brought Afis. On Afis, I have no regrets. Afis make a point and duty to insult and ridicule me here. I warned him several times to stop. When he refused, I started insulting his mother and his sister. Did it work? Sure, it works. He stopped insulting me. Will I do it again, you bet, I will.
 
If this 67 year-old Stevek doesn't insult me my profession (and you call yourself a lawyer or some other stupid thing), he will always have one rubbish to say about me.
 
Stevek, I am ready for you. If you insult me, I will hit you very hard. That is a promise.

Val Ojo might have repented on his sick bed at the count of last minute before he bowed out. I agree this is not the time to cast aspersions and condemn the dead on what he has done or fail to done at all. 

On the rapturable minute,  there will be a lot of surprises that I can tell. It is a movement when the Eagle that used to fly on high mountain will crawl and the Chicken that abodes beneath our feet will fly right into the eye of the storm. 

The mighty, the Noble, the Kings and the powerful rulers of our global village will not make it whereas the beggars for quarters on Broad and Main Streets will meet the KING of Kings and reign will HIM in live continuum. 

Beloved Dr Ojo has completed his race and sojourn on this terrestrial realm, his citizenship in the land of the living has been terminated and will henceforth await the judgement day. 

The demise and ultimate fall of the leaf of our fellow compatriot is a warming to our green leaves. We appreciate the Mighty GOD for benevolently renewing our residential permits on the surface of planet earth. We should see the departure of our brother as a sober reflection that one day, just one day our own Ebola free monkeys will go to the market and will not return.

He has the opportunity now to accept Christ as his savior. He should not blow it.

Do you think losing the lives of suicide bombers and Boko Haramist is a blessing or curse to humanity? When Olu said it is a sad day when a life is lost, I disagree with him. I honestly believe that there some lives that are so evil and wicked that I will not lose any tears if these lives are gone.

So, I asked you if your life should be considered one of those evil and wicked lives that shouldn't be mourned if lost, since Olu was talking about Valentine Ojo and Tone Egbe (R.I.P).

You see, if I asked you if you were calling Valentine's or Tony's lives evil and wicked and, therefore, shouldn't be mourned, you would have immediately asked, 'Where did I say that?'
I didn't write this for your benefit because this is way above your logical or analytic ability level.

Therein lies your tricky and cowardly Plausible Deniability'. You are really calling the lives of one or both of these dearly departed evil and wicked and shouldn't be mourned. But you were too cowardly to do so outright so you left yourself a way to deny it if you were called on it.

I called you on it and now you are denying it!

I wrote this in response to those who have the mental ability and honesty to understand this and not to you because you have neither; you are just like a cunning fox with no real intelligence.

I disagree with Olu here that it is sad day when a life is lost. There are some lives that are evil and wicked that losing those lives may actually be a blessing to humanity. I am in no way suggesting that Tony Egbe and Val Ojo's lives are those lives but there are some evil lives still among us.
 
Folks can you please tell me what I wrote above that is so distasteful of Val Ojo.
 
This is not the first time Stevek twist what I write to suit his purpose. There was a time Mr. Patrick Ugeh had to set him right. I have told this man, Stevek, to simply leave me alone. I did not steal his wife. If he doesn't insult me as a lawyer, he will have some other thing to say about me.
 
Now, he brought Afis. On Afis, I have no regrets. Afis make a point and duty to insult and ridicule me here. I warned him several times to stop. When he refused, I started insulting his mother and his sister. Did it work? Sure, it works. He stopped insulting me. Will I do it again, you bet, I will.
 
If this 67 year-old Stevek doesn't insult me my profession (and you call yourself a lawyer or some other stupid thing), he will always have one rubbish to say about me.
 
Stevek, I am ready for you. If you insult me, I will hit you very hard. That is a promise.

Otitibe, Please which Bible are you quoting from? Certainly not the Holy Bible! The Holy Bible is very clear - you will work for your salvation and no one else will do it for you. Your father, mother,  siblings, spouse or friends cannot work out salvation for you. You have to do so for yourself!

Yes, Jesus died for the sins of the whole world to reconcile man to Himself and give back man his dominion over all the creations of God which he unwittingly lost to satan. But man has to believe that He did, in order to tap into the benefits of His ultimate sacrifice. Salvation is not by proxy! You have to work for your salvation.

You cannot be serving Ifa and promoting what you call gods of Africa and expect your soul to go to rest in the bosom of the Lord when you finally give up the ghost, because some members of your nuclear family are saved. No way! It doesn't work like that. The Bible teaches about the Eternal Conscious Punishment of the Wicked and not Ultimate reconciliation!

If you want your soul to rest in the bosom of the Lord, this is the time to work it out - denounce every covenant you have with Ifa and all other gods that you reverence out of ignorance and repent and be baptised in the Name of Jesus Christ to receive the Holy Spirit Acts 2:38. Do not say you weren't told, for I have now told you as your good friend.

Well, this is not really the first time you have ascribed to yourself the power to know my inner thoughts and the working of my brain. But God knows I will not write to please you. Not too long ago, a similar thread happened with regard Ekwueme and Buhari. Then, the issue was a statement Umaru Dikko made on why Buhari overthrew Shagari government. Umaru Dikko said Buhari overthrew because Buhari feared Ekwueme will succeed Shagari as the President. What did you say? You said I have finally let slip the reason I am against Buhari. You said all along I've been against Buhari because Buhari truncated an Igbo man's (Ekwueme) chance of becoming President. You said I have finally let slip my inner feelings as to why I am against Buhari. Here we are again. Same thing is playing itself out. You see how you read my mind and know me better than I know myself? In fact, I'll give it to you Stevek: you are Vin Otuonye god. You know the inner working of my mind.

Some couple of days ago, I eulogized Tony Egbe because Tony was someone I know and someone I have had several telephone conversations with. Some of the people that live in Atlanta will attest to the many times I have invited Tony to party here in Atlanta and Tony always leave his home in Alabama for the party. Now fool like you that know nothing about Tony and I claim to know better. Stevek, you are 67 years old, please start making sense. Your warped and convoluted way of thinking leaves much to be desired. You reason like a juvenile. Grow up.
 
But really, you are right that that I would asked if I referred to Tony or Val's lives. But why asked if my life should be considered one of those evil or wicked lives? Did I mention your life? I was generic in stating that some lives are evil and wicked. I did not state your life. I did not state any specific life. Later, I  used those involved in suicide bombings and Boko Haramists as examples of the wicked and evil lives am talking about. So, what is your wahala? Are you involved in suicide bombing or Boko Haram?
 
I bet this is not going to be the end of this. We will have something similar to this in the very near future. Remember, I said you write for that tiny fraction and that fraction is you.

May the souls of the departed rest in peace. Before any of us knew that Tony or Val died, their souls were already pavilioned where they will rest until we meet them again. What we say or do will not change their address in the after life. 

Whether you are a christian or not, there is a heaven and there is a hell on earth. Look around you. There are people in heaven on earth. And there are people in hell on earth. Folks who are in hell on earth try to change their status so they too can be in heaven on earth. Everybody prefers heaven. I am in heaven on earth. 

If you are waiting to die to go to heaven, why not go ahead and die now so you can get to heaven earlier. The guys who don't believe that there is hell or heaven after death are more likely to be in heaven on earth and are not about to die any time soon and leave their heaven on earth. 

The question is what exactly do Tony and Val want us to be doing right now? Debating where they are? Nah. Probably want us to visit our favorite isi ehu joints and toast to lives well lived. After all, life is like a walking shadow, a poor player that struts his stuff and is heard no more. Forget the fool part. I am going to share some VSOP with both of them tonight . Adieu.
