Republicans are known to make the history books while at the same time losing to the Democrats. McCain was the first to lose to an African American. Romney followed. Now Trump and Rubio are competing to see whose behind will be whooped by a Lady. It got to hurt badly to go down in history as the presidential candidate who was whooped by the First Lady to become Madam President. In history books, people might be more interested in who lost to the lady than anything else. 

In Nigeria, it hurts to be whooped by a lady anytime anyhow anywhere. I could feel their pains all the way here in Chicago when Madam Iyom Ekwunife whooped Dr. Ngige and Victor Umeh at the same time.

Whatever is the case, GOP will not win the presidency in November (Trump's supporters are not numerous enough to garner him a win -- even if he gets 50% of the white votes, he still can't win the presidency). We're in safe hands for now and hopefully for another fours years.

in the USA. As President he would carpet-bomb neighbourhoods where ISIS fighters

and their families live.

Dogs, Cats and other animals would likely never support not alone politicians like

Trump and Cruze. Please, give them the Vote!

Former VC Aluko enumerated some of the disadvantages of torture in one of his responses that I just read a minute ago -- these disadvantages that have been scientifically proven to be infallible -- yet some people ignore them to still make a case for torture? While it is natural to be angry and to express it, enlightened people ideally do not react to affronts based on anger. Reason guides rational people's reactions and that should not cease to be the case with respect to ISIS or Boko Haram.  

 

Come on folks, we cannot become the wild animal that we are trying to annihilate. Torture is barbaric, inhumane, illegal in most democratic states and by UN a declaration; above all, it does not garner the stuff being sought through it. Torture is in the same league as putting a tire around the neck of a suspected pickpocket and setting him ablaze. What if he did no pick pocketing in the first place -- as in the case of the Aluu 4 (abi na 5 sef)?  

 

When reasonable people began to act like the terrorists would be when terrorists won the fight between barbarism and enlightenment. We should always bear that in mind before reacting.

In 2014, JUI fell out with Stevek on JUI's stance that the Nigerian military should not read "due process" to terrorists [Boko Haram] charging at the soldiers and attempting to hide in residential areas to launch murderous attacks against innocent people. JUI has no reason to reconsider his position on how best to handle terrorists at this time, even at the risk of Chuks Agwunobi reaffirming his view that JUI is as harsh as Joseph Stalin of Russia.
At least, Our Own Pastor Joe Attueyi appears to vote on the same aisle with JUI on this issue of handling terrorists properly; when it comes to handling terrorists in a society, the saying that "a stitch in time, saves nine" applies!
