Therefore, do NOT hate or dislike Asiwaju Bola Tinubu at all-at all (rara-rara),
the third Oba he refered to as "another" is the Oba of your hometown,
Even if your own Oba is one of those 'fifth class" ko-gbodo-d'ade Oba, that must never wear a crown and must "dobale" (postrate) for another bigger Oba.

Jerome Niang, anytime these dumb pricks blow their yeye-grammar, ask this Swegbe dockitas like IdowuBobo to tell you what his Oba in his town did during Abacha's terror on Yorubaland, that Tinubu should mention his Useless Oba separately.
Just ask the Dumb ass, none of them can say one word.

 

The only Oba I wished Tinubu could have mentioned was Oba Alafin of Oyo. Politics or not, the Great Alafin was persecuted by Abacha.

It shows there may be some rift between Tinubu and Alafin. 

 

Tinubu is setting his politics into high gears, knacking the bush so as to expose THE YORUBA SNAKES CALLING THEMSELVES OBA.  

Politics is a game played by pros, not Swegbe with doctorate degrees which are as meaningless in politics as their Useless Obas.

Even Okadigbo with doctorate in politics was floored by OBJ who had no college degree!

I see that you emphatically state "there is no challenge to pick".......and since I threw down a challenge therefore your no challenge means "Nolo Contendere?"

If you can't defend your Oba, and tell us in no uncertain voice how the Oba participated in helping to fight Abacha, please just say it loud and clear. 

It is not about the Awujale, it is about Tinubu describing the Obas as Useless Obas.

What you should do is to defend your Oba by telling us why his rulership cannot be described as "nothing but Useless" to the Yoruba Cause during Abacha days.

The failure of these ten-ten books in politics comes from their holding on to "negatives" instead of creating their own "positives".

Tinubu throws down the gauntlet on the Obas, a savvy politician will try to create their own positive image of those Oba not mentioned but fought against Abacha.

Nah, Naija PoliThieves have no positiveness to cradle, instead they create negatives out of what Tinubu has created.

They become crumb-catchers in Politics. They wait for the "Mahatma" to speak before they could even eat.

Republicans in America failed with these tactics, if no riggings occur in Naija, these tactics would be as Useless as most of the Obas.

Let's for once see you guys come out actually swinging justly.

I heard that the Inyanminrin peoples, during their Nkitipi dances in the Pigmy-Congo, had invented their own Magna Carta and called it "Nzobu Enyimba Kata".

My Oba respects himself. He does not play politics. He is the most senior direct son of Oduduwa in Nigeria today.His senior brothers: the Alaketu of Ketu,the Onisabe of Sabe and the Olupopo of Popo are presently in Benin Republic.

Those three paid him a visit in his domain recently.He respects himself. Carries himself with deserved honor and does not hobnob with either politicians of the APC or PDP hues.

His place in history is undeniable. His cathedral dignity remains sacrosanct!

It might interest you to note that the Olowu prostrates for my Oba!!!!!!!!!!!

Tinubu's description came about as a result of his praise of the Awujale.

Somebody need to teach Tinubu "Aroba". His knowledge of our political history is glaringly poor. In fact, some of us are beginning to see this man as from Borgu as claimed in some quarters.

Adetona Ogbagba would know when a non-Yoruba comes to try to divide the Yoruba. What he has just done is to show he is not Yoruba. Any sane Yoruba will not even think of, less talk of, what he has said. 

He talks of Oba as "another." In Yoruba, that implies insignificance of the object, and/or arrogance of the speaker - the arrogance of the illusion of power. No Yoruba Oba will ever allow anyone to approximate the office to insignificance, either by implication or by application. 

Praising an Oba as a person is different from denigrating the office. The Yoruba way would have been to praise the Awujale and leave the comparison alone entirely. 

Even the Awujale will disagree with him in more ways than one. But as Agba, he will not respond in words. He will respond in many ways as time unfolds.

Their so-called "democracy" (which is actually nepotism, the nadir of corruption) that akande said they have established (that results in twilight - oorun ale - and not oju ojo - daylight) is already showing its weaknesses.

It only looks like it, it is not it.

The Yoruba have already begun to walk away from it. 

They are behaving as the child who thinks its robes are better than the rags of its parents. That is not political, it is more than that.

Did he deserve it or not?

People are angry, they will beat up even an Oba if he gave them just little chance enough to squeeze out a serious "Alujo" on his body.

Exactly the case. Let the people make that decision concerning their oba, not the office. The examples given are even more telling. The people disgraced the person of the oba, not the office. They will replace the oba when they are ready. That is very different from denigrating the Office. Comparisons tend to conflate the office with the person ...

And the people are no fools ... they know ... one way or another. The oba are probably their first line, but then the politicians, who have created the desolation everyone witnesses, will be next. Regardless of their political stripe.
