KeywordPlanIdeaService service

We're currently migrating from the TargetingIdeasService to the KeywordPlanIdeaService. We understand that the KeywordPlanIdeaService does not return the product category.

Is there any other endpoint/method we can use to find out which product categories the suggested keyword is assigned without adding it as an actual keyword. Previously we filtered out irrelevant keywords based on the product category but there is no longer a way of doing this and this is a big problem for us.

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads/AdWords API. The Ads API doesn't offer product category data, yet you can refine keywords with GenerateKeywordIdeasRequest.keyword_annotation. This matches the new UI. Feel free to get back to us.
