Are there limits querying the Targeting Idea Service API?

Hi there,

I have a script that will take a list of seed keywords and query the Targeting Idea Service API to generate a list of related keywords with search volume.

I'm wondering if there is a limit to querying the API?

I ask because I've tried to feed over 5,000 keywords into this script, so it's querying the API quite a lot. I just want to know if there's any downsides to using it this much?

Hi Scott,

Thank you for reaching out. You could refer to this list for the limits on the Targeting idea. The seed keywords limit per stats request is 700. The maximum number of results for TargetingIdeaService.get() is 800.There is also a daily operational limit. However, the limit is 10,000 operations / day for Test access level and Basic access level and unlimited for the Standard access level. Since TargetingIdeaService.get() is only considered as 1 operation, regardless of the number of results objects, the daily operational limit is hard to reach.
