Need clarification regarding Campaign_Criterion and Call_View.

Hi,

Help required please.

I am using the following views/reports.

 

1.       campaign_criterion (please confirm whether it returns campaign level criterions (locations) or it also returns account level criterion (locations)?

2.       call_view (we get phone calls data from this view, please confirm whether it returns account level and campaign level received calls or only campaign level phone calls)?

Let me rephrase my question for more clarification.

1.       I get "locations" of a campaign using "campaign_criterion view", is there any other view that can return Ads account level locations? If yes what’s the name of that Google Ads view that we can use to get Google Ads account level locations using Google Ads API ?

2.       I get "received phone calls" using Google Ads view “call_view”, the same phone calls would be considered for a Google Ads account ?

If No, what’s the name of Google Ads view that I should use to get Google Ads account level "received calls" using Google Ads API ?

Thanks for reaching out. Can you please clarify whether you are referring to account level location extensions? If not, can you please direct us to the location settings you are referring to with a screenshot, or link to relevant documentation?

The call_view includes call extensions from the customer level, as well as campaign and ad group level.

Hello Qaiser,

You can identify feeds associated to an account using the customer_feed view. You can then perform another request using the feed_item view to retrieve the feed_item.id associated to the feed/customer. Lastly, if you wish to extract specific details of the feed item, you can then perform another request using extension_feed_item view and filter using the id from the feed_item report.

As for your question "How can we get call extensions using call_view of all the three levels separately?", as mentioned by my colleague Matt, all three levels can be retrieved using the call_view report. You can then filter using the Attributed resources fields of the said report if you wish to extract details per level.
