Apply for higher quota - Google Ads API

Hey, 

We are trying to apply for a higher quota for "Get requests per minute" and we are not able to. 

Please see the below screenshot, when we click on "apply for higher quota" we are redirected to "https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9978556?hl=en"" and we can't see anything related to higher quota in this link. 

How can we apply for a higher quota? 

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Alex,

Thank you for reaching out. Google ads API does not allow users to change the quota. It's set by the product and it's set by the developer token on what they were approved to run. So this is intended behavior that it cannot be changed. However, you could batch requests to reduce the total number of requests and thus mitigate the Requests Per Minute rate limit.

Thanks for your answer. What is the rate limit for a developer token with a Standard access level?   

Also, can you send me an example of the batch request approach?

Hi Alex,

Thank you for reaching out. The rate limit is not specified in the documentation. Also, the rate limit is not decided by the access level of the developer token. Please refer to this guide for more information on batch processing.

I'm referring to your previous message where it says that the quota is set by the product and the developer token. 

So my question, in the case of Standard developer token then what will be the quota for "Get Requests Per Minute"?

Hi Alex,

I work with Xiaoming and allow me to assist you for now.

We currently do not have API documentation on the exact limit of allowable per minute requests. However, our recommendation would be to mitigate your requests to ensure that you avoid this issue.

In addition, this type of limit cannot be requested to have higher quota. I hope this helps.
