Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API Forum.

Please note that our team can only provide support to Google Ads API related concerns and technical implementations.

Regarding the negative balance in your advertising account. Please note that since the API mirrors the UI, if this is visible in Google Ads UI then it will return the same in the API. In line with this, upon checking the account you provided, it appears that it has been suspended. With this, we would recommend reaching out to the Google Ads Product Support Team as they are the appropriate team for concerns with regards to suspended accounts.

Furthermore, in relation to the second email where screenshot was provided, could you please provide more details or full context regarding issues that have been encountered from our Google Ads API or elaborate more on how we can help? I ask this so our team can further investigate or provide accurate recommendations on this.

In addition, you may also provide the following information:

  • Complete (request and response with request-id) logs with request ID generated as shown in the respective links.
  • Complete or un-cropped screenshots from the Google Ads UI (optional)

We do this to check if there’s an error thrown on your side and provide right recommendations.

If you haven't enabled logging yet, it can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP response headers in the output.

As a side note, I have removed your first message on the forum thread as it contains private information.

Regards,

My problem is that if Google's account balance is no longer available, it should not be consumed under normal circumstances, which means there is no negative balance issue. However, we have pulled it out through the api and found that many accounts have negative balance issues

thanks

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

Kindly note that the Google Ads API mirrors the Google Ads UI. Whatever data shows on Ads UI report, API should pull it the same. That being said, for our team to further check this and provide appropriate recommendations to you, could you please provide us with the following information below?:

Complete API logs (request and response with request-id) generated on your end

Note that logs can be requested or provided to the developer handling the Google Ads API transactions when logging of the API requests has been enabled. You may check here and click your client library for the specific guideline to enable it.

For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag. This will cause the tool to include the HTTP response headers in the output.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.

Best regards,
