Demand Gen Campaign Ad Network Type Change

We have a daily ETL function to pull some metrics into our database and it looks like between October 21st and October 27th, Demand Gen campaign ad network type has been changed from MIXED to GOOGLE_OWNED_CHANNELS, therefore created duplicate results for the same campaign/ad groups.

Now, when we pul the same data we are always getting GOOGLE_OWNED_CHANNELS as ad network so I assume this was a change Google did. 

Does Google has a place where announce these type of changes?

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

In v18, ads are added with AdNetworkType.GOOGLE_OWNED_CHANNELS, which is used by ads that serve on Google-owned channels such as YouTube, Gmail, and the Discover feed. Please note that this network is only used by Demand Gen campaigns. For announcements about new API releases and features, I would recommend that you follow our blog post and release notes.
