Hi,

We've been having problem with the "payment mode" property of campaigns. Right now, we have a display campaign using target cpa and a payment mode set to conversions. when trying trough the api to set the campaign to manal cpc, then we got the error :BiddingErrors.NOT_COMPATIBLE_WITH_PAYMENT_MODE. The solution would be to change the payment mode to clicks before setting the campaign to manual cpc. I cannot see the place in the adwords api to change the payment mode. The only place to do this is in the UI ou via the beta api which i am not ready to support since its in beta. Is there a place i dont know about in the api to change the payment mode (using .net library 24.10.1 with the api version 201809).

Hi Claude,

Thank you for reaching out. The paymentMode field does not exist in the Adwords API so you will not be able to change it in the Adwords API. I have submitted a feature request to support the paymentMode field in the Adwords API. Please keep an eye on our blog for the announcements and updates on new releases.
