Does a Google Ads API developer token also let me query the AdWords API?

Hi all,

To reiterate from the title: Does a Google Ads API developer token also let me query the AdWords API? Or do I need to go through the application process anew for the AdWords API?

Hi  Tom,

Thank you for reaching out.

You should be able to use the same credentials you are using in the AdWords API. The only difference is this step in the OAuth2 Credentials. You have to enable your credentials for the Google Ads API.

To answer my own question, and for future searchers:

1. Yes, the same developer token lets you query both APIs

2. No, you do not need to go through the application process again (if you already have a developer token)
