Hello,

I'm Kevin from the Google Ads API Team.

I suggest you reach out to your Google Representative as the allowlisting for this feature should be done by the them. They should be able to better assist you regarding your queries.

Hi,

Thank you for the replies. I work with Kevin and allow me to provide support here.

If you have yet to identify a Google manager or representative, then the Google Ads Product support team can help identify one for you, you may reach out to them via this form. With this, the assigned Google manager / representative does not have the details for preparing or sending the request, then they can send us an email so our team can help provide those to them.

Best regards,

Hi,

Thank you for providing updates to your concern.

According to our document, both wbraid and gbraid are subject for allowlisting before you can upload it to your account. With this, you need to have a Google manager or representative to request the allowlisting on your behalf. That said, I would suggest to reach out again to the product team to at least help you identify your Google manager or representative as they mentioned it automatically based on ad account spend because they have more access to this information.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply and we understand the inconvenience you are encountering with this issue.

However, as per our API documentation that my colleagues have also earlier shared, and what you also mentioned in your initial post, both gbraid and wbraid currently require an allowlisting :
  • Starting with iOS14, clicks may contain a wbraid parameter (for clicks associated with web conversions) or a gbraid parameter (for clicks associated with app conversions) instead of the gclid parameter. This feature is currently behind an allowlist, and we expect to eventually roll it out to all users.
From our API team's perspective, this can then be requested by a Google representative on your behalf. Our team unfortunately does not have visibility to the conditions required to acquire a Google representative, however, we recommend that you clarify once more with the Product team on how you may acquire one.

Moving forward, if the Product team can confirm that your account is already indeed allowlisted, you may proceed using the said parameter in your API requests.

Best regards,
