Hi,

we are looking to manage account settings displayed in the screenshot below with the Google Ads API.
So far we couldn't identify any services that would allow us to set these parameters.

If this is generally possible could someone point us in the right direction?
If not, is this a feature we can expect in future API releases?

Hi,

Could you confirm if you are using the AdWords API or the Google Ads API Beta? If you are using the Google Ads API Beta, you could refer to the CustomerService.MutateCustomer() and edit the Customer class (auto_tagging_enabled, final_url_suffix, etc.). However, some settings from the screenshot you sent cannot be set in the Google Ads API Beta.

If you are using the AdWords API, you can also use the CustomerService.mutate() method to set your Customer settings. However, some settings also cannot be set in the AdWords API.

Let me know if you have further clarifications.

Regards,
Dannison

Hi,

we are using the AdWords API. Thank you for linking to the Customer class, we are specifically looking into managing "Call reporting", "Exclude content" and "Exclude types and labels".
As far as I can tell these settings cannot be set in the API.

Thanks for your reply!

Hi,

Yes, you are correct. These settings cannot be set in the AdWords API. This can only be done through the Google Ads UI.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, These settings cannot be set in the  AdWords API yet. As previously mentioned This can only be done through the Google Ads UI. So I would recommend keeping an eye on our Developer Blog for information on future releases.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Nirmita Patel Google Ads Team
