AdWords end-to-end ASP.NET sample application

I found the googleads-dotnet-lib on github.  This demo program runs exactly what I want, GET Campaigns. My objective is to get all campaigns within a managed group and put it into a database.  Currently we are creating a csv file/into an excel file.  Our company is new and I am a very junior developer.  I don't know if this application is the right way to get campaigns and put it into a database.  I also don't want this seen on the web.  So, if this API demo is the best way, do I have to have it on a website to run it?  I don't want to go thru a testing management system.  It seems like more work just to get the data.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Julie,

Since that demo APP is not designed to store the information in a database. You have to write a program at your end that can read the downloaded report and export it into the database of your choice. Although I see the demo APP for Aw Reporting in Java is having direct database support within the demo app, you can refer that application for implementation ideas. Instead of the Demo APP you can also use the .net client library directly as there are more examples available there. If you are facing any issues related to the API, you can post on this forum I am glad to help.
