User list error

Getting this error from api: UserListError.ADVERTISER_NOT_WHITELISTED_FOR_USING_UPLOADED_DATA adwords api

How do get it whitelisted?

Hi Archit,

Are you trying to create a CrmBasedUserList on a production account? If so, note that we recently released an update on our Customer Match requirements as you may see in this blog post and you need to contact your Google representative in order to be whitelisted for this feature.

Hi Peter, 

I have a follow-up question: while using a test account (using a developer token from the production account), am I correct to assume that the production manager account needs to be whitelisted? We are currently using a test account (linked to a test manager account), and using the developer token from our production manager account, and getting the UserListError.ADEVRTISER_NOT_WHITELISTED_FOR_USING_UPLOADED_DATA" error.

Hi Priyanka,

No, you will have to whitelist the account wherein you are trying to use AdWordsUserListService. Upon further investigation, it seems that there is currently an ongoing bug in which test accounts can not be whitelisted for customer match policy. Also, upon checking, it seems that you already have an ongoing discussion with my colleague in another thread. We will continue the discussion in that thread for better tracking of your concern.

Hi Archit,

The UserListError.ADVERTISER_NOT_WHITELISTED_FOR_USING_UPLOADED_DATA error when uploading userlists on test accounts has been resolved. Can you retry the request and let me know how it goes? If you're still encountering any issues, kindly provide the latest and complete SOAP request and response logs so I can further check.
