Hello,

What is best practise to retrieve Demographics Bid Adjustments (GENDER, AGE_RANEG, LOCATION, INCOME_RANGE)

I am seeing that AdgroupCriteriaService, CamapignCriteriaService, AdgroupBidModifierService, CampaignBidModifierService can be use.

But I need all Demographics adjustments made under the account at adgroup level.

Thanks,

Hello Chirag,

You may use the Criteria Performance Report which will return the stats are the ad group criteria level, one row per ad group and criteria combination by using the BidModifier field. Please make sure to set the includeZeroImpressions field to true to make sure that the bid values are returned even when the impressions count is zero. You can also use the individual reports like the Age Range Performance Report and Gender Performance Report to pull the Age and Gender demographics bid modifier data. Based on this article Household Income is only supported for Video Campaigns in the old UI and it is supported for Display, Search and Video campaigns in the New UI. In your case, if you don't have any video campaigns you may not see the income range metrics. Could you please give this a try and let me know if you have any questions?

Thanks,
Bharani, AdWords API Team

Hello Chirag,

You may use multiple reports to pull details for each of these criteria. Please find the details below:

Network Settings: Campaign Performance Report with fields AdNetworkType1 and AdNetworkType2
Campaign Goal: Currently not supported through the API reports.
Location: Campaign Location Target Report which will return the campaign level location criteria.
Budget Type: Campaign Performance Report with fields BudgetIdIsBudgetExplicitlyShared
Biding strategy: Campaign Performance Report with fields BiddingStrategyIdBiddingStrategyNameBiddingStrategyType

You may also use the Criteria Performance Report to pull the stats aggregated at the ad group criteria level. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Regards,
Bharani, AdWords API Team

Hi,

Also one more question,

Under Campaign Criteria Report When I pass LOCATION under criteria name I cannot get Location name or ID.

This should be bug.

Thanks,

Hello,

Please find my response below:

Is Frequency Capping for Display Network campaign possible using any report?
The Frequency capping field is not supported through the API reports. Please keep an eye on our blog for more information on upcoming updates.

Can I get campaign is for remarketing present or not?
You may use the Audience Performance Report which will return the audience associated with a campaign.

How can I get that campaign was enable for Sensitive content exclusion.
I'm afraid, it is currently not possible to pull this data for a campaign through the Campaign Performance Report.

Under Campaign Criteria Report When I pass LOCATION under criteria name I cannot get Location name or ID.
The Campaign Criteria Report is a structure report which will return the basic structural information for your account. The Criteria and CriteriaParameters fields contain string representations of criteria listed here. You may use the Campaign Location Target Report to pull the stats aggregated at the Campaign Location criteria.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Chirag,

You may use the Placeholder Feed Item Report and Placeholder Report in the API which will map to the Ad Extensions tab in the UI. This will return the data at the Feed level which will return the feeds associated with a campaign. You may also use the CampaignExtensionSettingService.get() too which will return the campaign level feeds.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

The Managed Placements are not available through API services. You will need to use the Placement Performance Report to pull the Managed Placements data.

2) Can I get Image Sizes used for display camapign or Images using API?
You may use the MediaService.get() to pull the fileSize of the Image which will return the size for the image media assets.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Chirag,

Please find my response below:

1) How I can get Extensions View and Association View, How I differentiate it?
Through the API reports, it is not possible to distinguish between the Extensions View and the Associations View. You may use the API service like the CampaignExtensionSettingService or the CustomerExtensionSettingService to pull the campaign level and account level associations. If your concern is different, could you please elaborate?

2) How I can get the level for the Extensions (Campaign/Account/AdGroup) as shown here https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/guides/uireports under Ad Extensions Report.
Through the Placeholder Reports or the Placeholder Feed Item report, it is currently not possible to pull the level that the extension has been applied. I have raised this as a feature request to the team. Please keep an eye on our blog for more updates.

3) How I can get AdGroup Level Ad Extensions?
You may use the AdGroupExtensionSettingService.get() to pull the Ad Group level extensions.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Bharani,

Thanks so much for all this help.

No, You answered the My question, but

1) I am using PlaceHolder Feed Item Report to get All Ad Extensions.
I am getting Association View Data match by checking FeedItemId and AdgroupId or campaignId data grouping.
But I am not getting proepr count for Structure Snippets. Structured Snipet not Used across Adgroups but in Report I get the it associate with all the Adgroups.
So that is bug I suppose.

Thanks,

Hello Chirag,

Thank you for sharing the report query. Th AdGroup Id in the Placeholder Feed Item report is a segment field and if you're using this in your report query, you will see more than one row per feedItem. Since you're using Placeholder FeedItem report you will be seeing multiple rows for the same Ad group for each feedItem. I also see the structured snippet placeholder type: 24 returned through the reports. If you're explicitly looking to pull the Feed level data, you may use the Placeholder Report where you can check the specific AdGroup Id and Campaign Id. If this does not address your concern, could you please elaborate?
