Google Ads API v9 - PermissionDenied: 403 User not authorized.

Hi,

i'm using the new Google Ads API (v9).

I tried to authenticate via OAuth2 by following these directions: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/client-libs/python/oauth-desktop
I generated the refresh_token and got the developer_token from my Google Ads account manager.

I tried to download all the campaigns but it gives the following error:

User doesn't have permission to access customer. Note: If you're accessing a client customer, the manager's customer id must be set in the 'login-customer-id' header. google.api_core.exceptions.PermissionDenied: 403 User not authorized.

I'm the administrator of the Google Ads account that i'm trying to access.

Can someone help me?

Hi Greta,

So that our team can take a closer look at the issue, could you provide the complete request and response logs, with the request-id, generated when the permission denied error occurred? Could you also provide the user / email address you used when you generated the OAuth2 credentials? Have you also specified a login-customer-id in your request?

If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link.

You may then send the requested information via the Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, you may send the details directly to our googleadsa...@google.com alias instead.
