Create call-only campaigns

Hi,

We are currently working on the RMF C.610 Call-only ads feature and I understand that you should be able to:

• Create campaigns with the call-only option enabled;
  
• Create call only ads with the following settings:
  
• Business name;
• Phone number;
• Description 1;
• Description 2;
• Display URL.

Creating ads seems to be pretty straight forward but creating call-only campaigns seems to be quite different from other campaign types (e.g. Dynamic Search Ads). Could you provide us a guide on how to create call-only campaigns to satisfy the RMF C.610?

Unfortunately, there is no guide on how to create call-only campaigns using AdWords API. However, this guide provides information on call-only ads that may help you.

We are now trying to download call-only campaigns from AdWords.

Do you know how we can recognize a call-only campaign through the API?

Hi Geert,

There is currently no way to find out if a campaign is Call-only through the API. However, you can find out through the UI by adding the column Campaign subtype.
