Google Ads API - ad_group_ad.ad.type returns wrong value

Hi,

I'm receiving a wrong value for the ad type through the Ads API. In my google-ads-python Github isse I've done a write-up of the issue and included the data. In short the problem is that the AdWords API returns the correct value for the ad type (EXPANDED_TEXT_AD), while the Ads API returns the wrong value (0, corresponding to UNSPECIFIED). This seems to be an issue with the data returned by the API, could you look into this please?

Hello Jippe,

I tried the same request at my end and was able to get the type as EXPANDED_TEXT_AD in my response instead of UNSPECIFIED. I would recommend you to upgrade to the latest version incase you are still using the old version. If you are still facing the issue please enable logging as shown here and share the complete error logs using reply privately to the author option.
