End of AdWords API?

It seems like Google is rolling out a new version of its API for Adwords. The current version is called "AdWords API" and the next version is called "Google Ads API".

We dread having to reprogram everything in PHP for the new version.

Must we switch to the new version "Google Ads API"? If yes, until when can we keep using the old version "AdWords API"?

Hi Jeremie,

As of now, Google Ads API is still in beta and there is no definite date yet as to when it would be fully launched. For now, you're not required yet to migrate to Google Ads API and you may continue to use the AdWords API. Rest assured that we will provide a timeline to users on when they can fully migrate to the new API. Kindly follow the AdWords API blog to be updated for future releases.
