I recently had my google shopping account suspended for violation of advertising. We are an authorized dealer for most products we sell. We have to oblige by MAP pricing although we are allowed by the Manufacturers to have an add to cart price which is pretty common. For many years we have been doing this. About 2 months ago we were told this is in violation since the price that we are selling in the actual basket is lower then the price we are forwarding to google feed. It is strange that they do not allow this as it is beneficial for the customer instead of hurting customer. My question is why was my company targeted for this when I see just about every competitor doing the same thing. Below is several examples of major companies doing this. What is and what is not allowed?
If you click on bandh, Adorama, Projectorsuperstore or projectorpeople they have different prices once you add to basket. Can anyone please advise as when I send in emails to Google Admin or call in they do not have any clear answer.
