Setting AdGroup bid not permitted

Hi,

I'm trying to modify the CPM bid of an adgroup through the PHP API but i'm getting this error:

Which I guess means the operations failed because it is not permitted on display campaigns, but on the adwords website it IS permitted, so I really don't get this error.

Heres the relevant code:

$cpmBid = $adGroup->getBiddingStrategyConfiguration()->getBids()[0];

$cpmBid->getBid()->setMicroAmount(10*1000000);

$operation = new AdGroupOperation();

$operation->setOperand($adGroup);

$operation->setOperator(Operator::SET);

$operations[] = $operation;

$adGroupService->mutate($operations);

Where am I going wrong?
