google adwords api v201702 not available and its upgrade process

Hi,

We have been using the google adwords api php client v201702 specifically to upload offline conversion feed for google adwords. As of Feb 23rd 2018, this service has stopped working with the error

PHP Fatal error:  SOAP-ERROR: Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from 'https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/cm/v201702/OfflineConversionFeedService?wsdl' : Start tag expected, '<' not found

When I navigate to the wsdl file in the browser , it is empty. So, I am planning to upgrade to version v201705. but when i look at the sunset date for v201705, it is scheduled for 28 march 2018.. I cannot upgrade to the latest version (v201802) because of the php version we are currently using. So my question is what is the earliest version for google adwords api which will be available for at least a year and which supports php version 5.5.38?

Hi Shikhar,

The v201702 AdWords API version has already been sunset and services from this version will no longer work. From the AdWords API perspective, we recommend that you always use the latest version. As for the PHP versions which are compatible with previous or current versions, you may get in touch with the PHP client library owners via this link as they are more equipped to provide you with the information you need.
