Query on Search Volume Data for Standard Access in Google Ads API

Hi Everyone,

We currently have Basic access to the Google Ads API and are planning to apply for Standard Access soon. I have a specific question regarding the search volume data provided under Standard Access.

Does Standard Access provide exact search volumes for keywords, or are the search volumes given in ranges? If the data is provided in ranges, could you please specify the conditions under which this happens?

I would like to inform you that the Google Ads API with Standard Access does not provide exact search volumes for keywords. Instead, it offers estimates within a specific range. Please refer to the document Keyword Planning which explains the functionalities of Keyword Planning within the API and search volume estimation. Also, I recommend you refer to the guide Access Levels and Permissible Use for more details on the standard access and basic access.
