Hi Sinea,

Thanks for reaching out! If you use the REMOVE operator, you will encounter the OPERATOR_NOT_SUPPORTED error as it is no longer supported. To remove a custom affinity, please use mutate method with the operator to SET and then mark the status to REMOVED.

Fair enough thank you for the support i do have a question though. Are the custom affinities cleared over time or why cant we delete it. If we query for custom affinities without filter we can still get them. I need to query with status=Enabled to get the "Real" list.

Hi Sinea,

No problem, happy to help! No, the custom affinities are not cleared over time and this is how the API was designed. Please continue to filter for ENABLED status if you do not want REMOVED custom affinities to be returned in your results. It is also worth noting that custom affinity has recently been migrated to custom audience as mentioned in this support article.
