Internal API Error

hi,

i am trying to change TargetingSettings (setTargetAll) for existing campaigns using CampaignServiceInterface.

The code is strait forward: 1) fetch campaigns 2) adjust settings 3) upload campaigns. 

Tried many times with the same "Internal API Error". Could you please take a look on it?

Hi Evgeny,

Your response looks ok, however, the campaign you are trying to update is a removed campaign which should cause you issues. Please try this call again with a campaign that is either paused or enabled.

hi Anthony,

thanks for the check, however it does not work for ENABLED and PAUSED campaigns too.

we also tried to remove budget, name and status params from the request, but we still get the unexpected internal error.

Hello Evgeny,

The campaign ID 9062863394 from your last request is also a removed campaign. I was able to change the targetingSetting on my account with an enabled campaign. If you aren't able to, please share the SOAP logs for those requests.

hi Anthony,

the campaign is being recreated on each run, the code is from our integration test.

I isolated the code in a separate method:
1. download campaign using campaignService
2. change the targetAll
3. collect errors
see the screenshot: the campaign is ENABLED at this point

We contacted with our Engineering team about this issue and we will keep you posted as progress is made.

In the meantime, could you let us know if this is issue is only happening during tests or also for campaigns that serve ad(s)?

hi Pierrick,

we can not test this code in our real production environment, until we have fixed the targeting.

but i'm pretty sure, that our test adwords account is not a testing one: 1389157031
