Cannot create Conversion Rules in Performance Max campaign

Hi, I have 1 campaign type Performance Max in Adwords.

Now I want to create new Conversion rules set to that campaign.

Body: customer_id: "xxx"

The error:

Moving forward, upon seeing the error you have attached, it appears that you have encountered the VALUE_RULES_NOT_SUPPORTED_FOR_CAMPAIGN_TYPE error. This means that this value rule set is attached to a campaign that does not support value rules. Currently, campaign level value rule sets can only be created on Search, or Display campaigns.

Having said that, could you please provide the complete logs (request and response logs with request ID and request header) generated on your end so we can further investigate this issue? If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, which you can access from this link. 

You can provide it via Reply privately to author option. If this option is not available, then send it instead on this email address googleadsa...@google.com.
