Incorrect performance data

Hi,

We download performance data for a number of client accounts.

There have been no changes made to our system, but the performance data downloaded for yesterday, 16th November 2016, is incomplete for a number of accounts. Other accounts are still returning a complete set of data. There is no obvious pattern in the affected accounts.

Can you confirm whether there is a general issue updating the performance data that is available through the API, or whether this would be something that could occur because we are using a deprecated version of the API (v201607)?  It is critical that we find a resolution to this issue, because our automated account optimisation is based on the accuracy of the figures that we download from Google.

Hi John,

AdWords reporting data is not real-time. There is a certain lag between the occurrence of an event and the event data being available via the API. I would recommend waiting for an appropriate amount of time before trying to extract performance related data. To calculate the exact amount of lag based on your timezone, please refer to our Data Freshness Guide.
