Transition from SOAP API to REST API

Hi All,

I have the following question:

In the SOAP UI the ManagedCustomerService returned the customer with the managed customers and the labels attached to them in one call.

In the REST API we are using the googleAds:search endpoint, but this means that we have to do a minimum of 2 calls and 1 per label as well. Am I missing something in the implementation or is this the only way to retrieve the information we need?

Thank you for raising this concern to the Google Ads API support team.

With regard to your concern, upon checking in our document, I am afraid that your observation is correct that you'll need to make 2 API calls. First, you need to use the customer_client and include the customer_client.applied_labels. Then, to get the full details of the applied labels you need to utilize the label.
