No Cost Metrics - Access/Permissions Issue

Hey, every time I query the API on production ad accounts it's returning 0 for any metrics that have a cost associated e.g. cpc, cost/conv, conv value etc - have I misconfigured something or is this an issue with API access level? I'm currently on basic but have applied for standard. Can anyone help please

As per provided information, I understand that you are getting the 0 metrics when trying to retrieve the cost through the Google Ads API by using your Google Ads account. In order to assist you further, could you please provide us with the Google Ads customer ID and the GAQL query that you have used to retrieve the data through the Google Ads API?

Also, please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end. 

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.
