For adwords campaigns, I keep getting recommendations from Google such as " Raise bid for free social media coursesfrom $2.00 to$2.25 Ad group: socialmedia training#1 1600impressions may have been lost. You can get5more clicks for an additional cost of$9.00, based on an estimated click-through rate of0.25%." What are the available APIs to compute the impressions that may have been lost due to lower bid price and the estimated click-through rate? Can this be done in near real-time to automatically adjust the bid price given certain measurable parameters such as no. of times bids lost due to lower price etc. ? Thanks

Hi,
There are a couple of different services in the API to help you optimize your campaigns. Check out our Estimating Traffic guide for details on the TrafficEstimatorService. Also, the DataService will provide information on the approximate # of clicks, etc. that you will get using different bid amounts.
You can also look at the various impression share fields in reports, e.g., on the KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT, the SearchRankLostImpressionShare and SearchImpressionShare fields provide information on impressions you served vs. impressions you could have served.
