Where is the Click Share column in the Ad Group Performance report?

Hello,

There is a column "Click Share" in the Ad Groups of the Google Ads UI that does not exist as a field in the Google AdWords API's "Ad Group Performance Report".

And here is a screenshot of the column in the UI (I have only screenshot a small portion because of sensitive information).

Please advise on how to get the Click Share for the Ad Groups via the Google AdWords API.

Hi Ramy,

The Click Share field that you are seeing in the Google Ads UI view is currently not supported in the AdWords API's Ad Group Performance Report. For now, you may keep an eye on our blog for any updates regarding this.

Hi Peter,

That's a shame. Is there any way via the Google AdWords API to get the "Click Share" value of an Ad Group? Even if it can be inferred through some indirect means?

Hi Ramy,

Metrics are generally only available in the reports, and for ad group level performance data, they can only be retrieved via the Adgroup Performance Report. That being said, since the UI field does not have its equivalent in this specific report, then there is no other way via the AdWords API to retrieve this.
