Uploading offline enhanced conversions error

Hi -

We are looking for some assistance when trying to upload offline enhanced conversions.

We have set up a offline conversion action, and adjusted the setting 'Method for measuring offline conversions' to be 'Enhanced conversions for leads'. When trying to upload an enhanced conversion either via the API or file upload for a hashed email, we are receiving a partial error back stating 'No click was found for the provided user identifiers. This may be because the conversion did not come from a Google Ads campaign'.

For this same conversion, if we try uploading it using the GCID we have for it instead of the enhanced conversion/hashed email, it is successfully uploading.

Is there something we are missing that may allow these conversions to be matched to a click via hashed email? We are under the assumption that this conversion, which we know came from a click since we have the GCID, should be able to upload using the email for the enhanced conversion. Is there something else that needs to be setup under the Google Tag to allow these emails to match to clicks?

If you haven't yet, logging can be enabled by navigating to the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. After reviewing your concern, I understand that you are encountering errors while uploading offline enhanced conversions.

In order to assist you further, we would like to see the uncropped UI screenshot of the issue you are facing. Also please provide us with the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end.

If you are using a client library and haven't enabled the logging yet, I would request you to enable logging for the specific client library that you are using. You can refer to the guides Java, .Net, PHP, Python, Ruby or Perl to enable logging at your end. For REST interface requests, you can enable logging via the curl command by using the -i flag.
