How to obtain the total number of records for change status table data

When our company obtained the change status table data through the Google ads API interface, there was a sudden increase in the data volume of some accounts, such as the advertising account 1324487890, which occurred from 00:00:00 on June 8, 2023 to 00:00 on June 11, 2023 (UTC+8 time). During this period, the advertising account generated 2.31 million data, which is several tens of times more than usual. I would like to ask,



Is it possible to query the total number of change status data records for a certain advertising account during a certain period of time?

Thank you for raising your concern to the Google Ads API team.

I understand you want to retrieve the total number of results/records for the change status data. First, you can create your query using our query builder for Change Status(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/fields/v14/change_status_query_builder). Then, you can use our method: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v14/SearchGoogleAdsRequest and set return_total_results_count field to true.

The response body(https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/rest/reference/rest/v14/googleAdsFields/search#response-body) will include a totalResultsCount field which displays total number of results that match the query ignoring the LIMIT clause.
