Inquiry Regarding Data Inclusion of Counties in the Prefecture Field of Geographic Performance Reports via Google Ads API

Dear Google Ads API Support Team,

We are using the Google Ads API to retrieve geographic performance reports and have a question regarding the specifications of these reports.

[Details of Inquiry]

When retrieving ad records with geographic targeting via the Google Ads API, we observe that the geographic targeting criteria can include both Prefectures (県) and Cities (市), as indicated by the Target Type field of the geo_target_constant resource.

When a geo_target_constant with Target Type "City (市)" is geographically included within a geo_target_constant with Target Type "Prefecture (県)," we would like to understand whether the performance data for that "City (市)" is also included in the figures reported for the "Prefecture (県)" in the geographic performance reports.

For example, Saitama Prefecture (埼玉県) includes Saitama City (さいたま市). Our specific questions are:

• In the geographic performance report, does the figure reported for "Saitama Prefecture (埼玉県)" include the performance data for "Saitama City (さいたま市)"?
• Alternatively, does the figure reported for "Saitama Prefecture (埼玉県)" in the geographic performance report represent the performance data for areas within Saitama Prefecture (埼玉県) excluding "Saitama City (さいたま市)"?

We are currently using the Google Ads API and querying the geo_target_constant resource as described in the following documentation: https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/data/geotargets

We would appreciate it if you could provide clarification on this matter.

Google Ads API で地域ターゲットの広告レコードを取得した際、地域を示す「Prefecture項目」に都道府県と、郡が混在することがあります。

地域として「郡」が「県」に含まれる場合、地域別の広告レポートにおける「県」の数値には、「市」のパフォーマンスも含まれているのでしょうか？

具体例として、埼玉県に「さいたま市」が存在しますが、

地域別広告レポートの「Prefecture項目」で「埼玉県」として出力される数値には、「さいたま市」のパフォーマンスも合算されているのでしょうか？
それとも、「Prefecture項目」で「埼玉県」として出力される数値は、「さいたま市」のパフォーマンスを除いた、県内の他の地域のみの数値として出力されているのでしょうか？
