How to delete audience assignments in account

Hi guys,

We have audiences assignments to adgroups in one of our AdWords account.  Some of the adgroups were deleted, but the audience assignments were not.
When we try to delete these deprecated audience assignments, either by using the API or the AdWords console, we get error messages.
How can we delete audience assignments whose adgroups were deleted previously?

Hi Julia,

Currently, the AdWordsUserListService does not support the REMOVE method. As a workaround, I recommend changing the Status of a UserList to CLOSED.

Thanks a lot for your answer!
We're not trying to delete the user list: what we're trying to do is to remove the user list assignmnent from an adgroup.  Hence, we cannot close the user list because it's also assigned to another adgroups.
We need to delete the user list assignment from a deleted adgroup.  The assignment status in the AdWords console is shown as "Ad Group Removed".  When we try to delete this assignment using the AdWords console, we get an error message:



Is there any way to remove the user list assignment that points to a deleted adgroup?

Hi Julia,

Thanks for clarifying the question. Unfortunately, there is currently no way to remove a user list (or any other criterion) from an ad group that has already been deleted.
