Receiving CustomerError.TEMPORARY and CustomerError.UNKNOWN failures

From today morning, we are getting intermittent API errors - CustomerError.TEMPORARY and CustomerError.UNKNOWN

Same was working till wednesday. Is there any change happened from API? 

We are using latest i.e.V201607 of adwords.

Hi Anthony,

We are getting this issue intermittently only on server machine and not from local machine. Also we haven't logged the SOAP request. So it is hard for us to get the same SOAP request which is giving error.

Can you please give exact cause of CustomerError.TEMPORARY and CustomerError.UNKNOWN errors? We haven't found this in documentation.

Hi Ketaki,

The TEMPORARY error occurs when there is a server error. Unfortunately, there is no way to pinpoint exactly what the UNKNOWN error was caused from without the SOAP request.

We are also seeing the CustomerError.UNKNOWN problem, which is beginning to occur very frequently on our reporting software. In almost every case re-sending the exact same request results in a successful response.

Here's the tricky part: the log files aren't generated when this failure occurs. I have attached the log files of a successful request/response, which occured immediately after one of the exceptions was thrown. Again, it seemed totally random, but I only had to try the request about 5 times before I got the response.

The exception occurs when calling "getCustomers" on the CustomerService object.
