Is the developer token the same for Google Ads and Google AdWord APIs ?

I know that the docs of Google Ads says from the beginning that you can do everything from AdWord API and more.

I already tried some script from Google Ads API AND Google AdWordAPI examples (get_campaigns for both) in test account, and I get the same response! 

I would like to ensure something for the future, so my question is the following :

Is the Basic access developer token (Production) allow you to access the both APIs ?

Hi Vincent,

I can confirm that you can use a developer token with basic access on both APIs. Just please take note that the daily operation limit for Google Ads API is 15,000 operations / day while 10,000 operations / day for AdWords API.
