How to determine the campaign subtype

Hello Team ,

Is there way to determine/identify the sub-type of the campaign in get request ?

For instance,
1.We have a call only ads  campaign on API
2.In get request , we have AdvertisingChannelType and AdvertisingChannelSubType  selectors
3.AdvertisingChannelSubtype is returning UNKNOWN for Standard, All Features and Call Only ads campaigns

Would be great if you can help on this

Hello,

Campaigns created through the API are equivalent to All features campaigns. There is not a 1-1 mapping between the subtypes in the UI and the API, since the UI subtypes are mostly used for controlling which UI elements are available when working with a campaign in the UI.

The advertisingChannelSubType simply provides an additional refinement over advertisingChannelType when specifying the primary serving target for ads within this campaign. It is not the same setting as what you see on the AdWords UI as campaign subtype.

The UI's campaign's subtype is a flag to organize the campaign settings so that it makes more sense to the UI user.
