API Support for AdGroup's Targeting expansion?

Hey guys,

Im looking to query and mutate AdGroup's Targeting expansion settings (using Google's UI is adGroup->settings->Targeting expansion).

I've been looking anywhere in the documents, and in the code itself, but i could find any clue about it.

What have i missed?

I've tried to navigate on your provided navigation steps; however, can't find on the AdGroup's Targeting expansion settings. Could you share a screenshot via Reply privately to author option instead?

As an aside, I've checked on our documentation and found this ExplorerAutoOptimizerSetting which is related to targeting expansion. If this is what you're looking for, you can use the MutateAdGroups then under the AdGroup, you can find the ExplorerAutoOptimizerSetting.

Sadly, the Reply privately to author option is disabled for me: "you don't have permission to in reply to author in this group"

Thanks for providing the screenshot. If necessary, you can reply to us privately at googleadsa...@google.com. However, the ExplorerAutoOptimizerSetting should map to Target Expansion setting in the UI. Can you please try setting this and let us know if any issues occur?

Thanks for the reply.

Sadly, from my testing, ExplorerAutoOptimizerSetting does not control the screen I attached.

The screen have a slider while the setting in ExplorerAutoOptimizerSetting is only opt in or out (boolean).

I've set manually one of my adGroups with this settings, and while querying it, the "explorer_auto_optimizer_setting" was turned off.

Is there other API property which might control this section?

I'm also very interested in this. We had some issues recently with display campaigns suddenly increasing their spend due to this setting. Being able to read/mutate this across all accounts via the API would be very useful! :) ~Joe
