Creating and Editing Video Campaigns via the API

Hello all,

I'd like to be able to create a Video Campaign, create a TrueView Ad (pointed to YouTube video advertising my product) and then target that ad to specific YouTube categories, keywords or even just one specific YouTube Video. Is this all possible with the AdWords API right now? I've seen on this group that reporting on Video Campaigns is not yet available, but what about these other things?

As mentioned in a separate thread, the API does not support creating or editing AdWords for Video campaigns at this time.

Any update with this one? Is is not possible to create and update TrueView campaigns with the v201509 API? I know those TV campaigns are available in reporting but what about creating them?

Is there any roadmap for new API releases? Many people ask online about this, it would be great to know at least that there are plans regarding this feature request (creating TV campaigns).

Hey Josh,

I am wondering why you released a templateads for the TrueView in-search videos Ads, so we can make an ad through the API with this template and you don't support creating/updating a video campaign through the API. Is this template useless or we just can create a video campaign with some workarounds ? Here's the link of the TrueView template in adwords API docs. Thanks.

That template (ID 231) is a bit confusing. My understanding is that it's for creating video ads in Display campaigns (not Video campaigns).
