Adwords API using service account to access manager account within same google workspace: Can api access sub accounts that are not in workspace but children of manager account?

Hi there, my company have setup a Google workspace account and a GCP account and an google ads manager account. We have created a GCP application and granted Adwords api permissions. Our intention is to use a service account to allow api access to Google Ads manager account that is under the same domain and workspace. My question is, if we have child accounts (under our workspace manager account) that are NOT part of the same workspace, will we still be able to access them via our api calls; or must the sub accounts also be part of the same workspace?

Also make sure to follow and do its Prerequisites (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/oauth/service-accounts#prerequisites) and Access setup (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/oauth/service-accounts#service_account_access_setup) to avoid issues.

In addition, as for the provided screenshot, you may see this section (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/oauth/internals#scope) for the Google Ads API scope and this document (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/oauth/cloud-project) for details on configuring a Google API Console Project for the Google Ads API.
