Hi, can you help me understand what type of credentials OAuth Client I need to create?  If we create some service on the backend which type of credentials do I need to create?
To check the connection and for user testing, I created desktop credentials and I can get an access token through the OAuth client. If I create a web application then the client shows me an error that says that needs a parameter "type".

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Google Ads API support team.

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you have created a web application then the client shows you an error that says that it needs a parameter "type". It occurs if you are using desktop credentials, which are not supported for web applications. To handle this, you need to create a web application client and use that to get an access token. The Outh credentials you need to create are client Id and client secret. For more information, kindly refer to the configure a Google API Console Project for the Google Ads API.
