click_view not working on App Install Campaigns

Dear team at Google,

I'm trying to query the click_view to get the ad group name that generated the app install for an Android app. However, when I query the click_view resource through the Google Ads python library, no rows return for any date. (I am ONLY running App Install Campaigns).

I've tried both stream_search and search operations with no success. Every other operation works correctly and debug says "Host: googleads.googleapis.com, Method: /google.ads.googleads.v14.services.GoogleAdsService/SearchStream, RequestId: xxxx, IsFault: False, FaultMessage: None" so I'm guessing no errors are ocurring.

Can you give me some pointers on how to proceed?

By reviewing your concern, I understand that you're trying to query the click_view to get the ad group name that generated the app install for an Android app. In order to investigate, kindly provide us the complete API logs (request and response with request-id and request header) generated at your end to assist you better. I would request you to configure logging in the Python client library if not configured yet. You may refer to this link to configure logging in the Python client library.
