How can I get Ad Type Id using Google Adwords API?

Hi,

How to find AdTypeId using Google Adwords API?

For example, the following URL opens the ad directly,

https://ads.google.com/aw/ads/edit/search?campaignId=6445309094&adGroupId=77377458659&adId=378235454546&adGroupIdForAd=77377458659&adTypeId=14&__c=4810536426&__u=8206534617&authuser=0&ocid=306880979

In the above URL, adTypeId is 14, the actual type is ExpandedTextAd. Which java API to find the adtypeid (14) by adtype (ExpandedTextAd)?

Hi Suresh,

Thank you for posting your concern.

Unfortunately, getting ad type id is currently not supported in AdWords API. What you can currently get is only type via AdGroupAdService.get().
